I’m not typically the kind of person to complain on reviews like this, but last night my mom and I were out at meijer and decided to get Starbucks after our shopping trip. I mobile ordered from my phone and drove straight over there. I pulled up to the talk box and said “Hi I’m picking up a mobile order for (my name). I just placed it, it’s probably not ready yet” and the young lady working the drive through says “We do ask that you wait a couple minutes before showing up here after placing a mobile order” or something along those lines. Having worked at a Starbucks myself in the past, I was immediately appalled at this unprofessionalism, and audibly scoffed and then drove on. When I got up to the window, the person in the window continued to berate me for my “seemingly” rude reaction to what she told me since she could see and hear me through the drive through camera. I told her I really would just like to take my drinks and get on with my night. She continued to try to argue with me, I rolled up my window and left. This is absolutely no way to treat a customer. Read more*UPDATED REVIEW Happy to say that this Starbucks crew has turned it around and done/does a STELLAR job. They have really picked up the pace and the wait is not anything like it used to be. Staff is very friendly and have taken the time to remember the items I order, which speeds things up for sure. is very much appreciated. Fingers crossed nothing changes and my favorite items remain available for purchase.
Takes too long to get your drink. Doesn’t matter if you go inside or through the drive through, it’s about the same either way. Just spent 20 minutes in the drive through to get a drink and once your in the drive through your stuck and can’t get out if you have to be somewhere. The employees are nice and polite but don’t seem to change gears and move any faster when the drive through is full. First few weeks I was only getting about 3/4 if that of my drink the rest was foam or whipped cream, seems they have corrected that. Read moreI have had two horrible experiences at this location. Every single time the staff has had a horrible attitude, has not put the customer first, and has refused to make things right.
I have been the first in line and received my order last after waiting for 30+ minutes. Nothing was made right.
I have told the staff that I have a medical condition and cannot wear a mask. Nor am I required to disclose my condition. Which according to the US Department of Justice ADA Violation Reporting is a $75,000+ fine for refusal of service based on discrimination. I plan to file a lawsuit for this reason. There is NO mask mandate in the state of Indiana and I have been discriminated against and received disastrous service.
I have been a Starbucks member and consumer for MANY years and spend a lot of money at this franchise to receive such poor manners and behavior.
