Meijer — Local services in Angola

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and decided we needed a few essentials so we stopped in meijers … Off the bat we were getting stared at and followed I have worked in the Asset protection field before so I’m FULLY aware of what that looks like I’ve also worked at meijers before so again I’m informed and aware of their rules and regulations… we gather our items and proceed to the self checkout as we are checking out items the cashier is waiting to do the ID check (we had alcohol) this lady tells me “can you get out of the way so I can do what I have to do.” Ummmm rude. Okay. Then we’re walking out one of our items sets off the alarm NO biggy until an elderly lady yells at the top of her lungs “HEY STOP COME BACK!” As if we were running out of the store im a big woman I don’t run ma’am anyways we come back inside this lady starts taking things out of our bags going through all of our items with the receipt In her hand after she realized what had set the alarm off she continued to go through our bags to make sure everything was paid for LMFAO One of the most degrading shopping...

Let me tell you about my Meijer experience. We don't have one where I'm from, so as I was walking around aimlessly looking for a sandwich a nice lady from the bakery had noticed. She proceeded to introduce herself and kindly ask if I needed help. After I told her what I was there for she personally walked me around and showed me all the places the pre-made sandwiches were and introduced me to the lady at the deli. Who was also very nice. She was very informative and obviously really cares about her job. I can not remember the last time a employee anywhere took time out of their busy shift to go the extra mile. It was last night. November 11th 2020 approximately around 830-900 pm. I thought it was nice of her to do that and not overly focused on getting closing tasks done. As a former store manager in a different industry, if that was my employee... she would definitely be celebrated and made to feel like the...

Such a shame. Old mean lady Kim still works there . My u scan I was at went off so needed a worker to help , she wipes her hands loudly says Jesus Christ then comes over slams down her scanner. Back in may she was loudly complaint to another customer about a crying baby, we are talking a baby that was a few months old! She was also cruel to my oldest daughter who was helping me and my autistic son who wasn’t doing a thing wrong but tryin to help . Manager today seemed wonderful. Will redo my review when corporate fired this horrible old lady. She’s bad for business and very mean . I felt very uncomfortable and the fact she’s cussing . This time she has more grey hair .
