Chef Katrell — Local services in Annandale

Chef Katrell catered a special celebration for us, and we highly recommend her as a caterer for anyone who wants excellent work. Chef Katrell and her co-worker served delicious appetizers soon after guests arrived and were chatting. Then they allowed us time to have a short program, while they continued to tidy up and finish preparation of the buffet table for the main course. As we were about to prepare glasses of champagne for our guests for a toast, Katrell and her helper appeared and helped pour and get a glass to each person. We did not hire them to the drinks, but they were right there helping. The main course was served buffet style. The table was beautiful with food displayed artistically. We enjoyed every dish, but the sea bass, brussels sprouts, and kale salad seemed to be favorites. All comments from guests were extremely flattering. Desserts were all homemade, both pretty and tasty. Katrell and her co-worker kept everything filled and looking attractive while at the same time having nice interactions with guests as they were invited. When they left, the kitchen was sparkling, dishes all picked up and the house tidied up without their filling intrusive. They even washed all of the champagne glasses, which they certainly did not need to do. If you want an A + caterer, then hire Chef Katrell. You will not be sorry and your guests...

My experience with Chef Katrell and Sous Chef Chloe, is an experience that I'm still thinking about! To say that the culinary experience was memorable is an understatement. Chef Katrell's attention to detail in preparing the food....and she and Chloe's attention to their guest is something I thought was an lost art. They proved that good customer service still exist in the world.

The theme of the Brunch was "It's In Our Jeans" Luxury Brothers Brunch with Chef Katrell, was that and more. Chef Katrell and Chloe themselves had on denim aprons, along with the napkins being denim, which was a very nice touch indeed.

Chef Katrell informed us that she had "to go boxes," for us to take home, if we hadn't finished what was on the menu. I would like to mention that I personally did not finish my food until noon on Wednesday, October 29, 2021. I would also mention that the Brunch was on Sunday, October 26, 2021. It was just as good and fresh as the day of the Brunch.

In closing, I would like to say that EVERYONE should experience Chef Katrell. It's an experience you will not forget.....and one that you would LOVE to experience a second and/or third time. She's that good!

There are many things the last 18 months have shown us. Among those things is that NO day is promised. It is important that we make the most of each day and count our blessings. This luxury brunch is one such counted blessing. I can not recommend more highly, the overall experience with Chef Katrell. First, the food is as visually appealing to the eye, as it is delicious to the tastebuds. Dishes are both plentiful (I ate well the next day from my to go stash) and flavorful. Chef Katrell's combinations create dishes both familiar and those offering a creative twist. The attention to detail in her personalization of each event ensures a slightly unique experience to call your own. Understanding that presentation is half the battle, the setting offers a cozy upscale trendy vibe that perfectly compliments the cuisine. Personable and engaging, Chef Katrell and her team set the stage for an overall memorable experience. We take brunch seriously here in the DMV.
