Do not bother attempting to rent through this company if you have little to no Credit history or poor credit history. No where on their website do they state that the credit check they authorize along side the background check will affect your being approved to rent one of their properties. But it does. Wasted 60$ to be told I don't have enough credit history to be approved and my husband was denied to one negative thing on his credit's past history. Had we realized they used the credit checks for approval prior we would not have wasted our money attempting to rent with them. Everything in the Anniston area is owned by either King rentals or J. Brittain and associates rentals, neither of which companies work with people and their poor credit. (It's unfortunate and a sham system especially for people, like us, who have plenty of sufficient income for these properties.) Don't bother unless you have a score of 600 or higher/and have never made any mistakes...

We have experienced ERA King Property Management from both perspectives, first as a property owner as they have handled our rental home for the past three years, and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. They have taken all of the hassle out of the process, they screen all applicants, and have put very good tenants in our property, additionally they have handled all of our problems with the property, sending out competent and reasonable repair companies. Julie, Kim, and all of the staff in the property management department have been great to work with! I have been renting from King Management for 9 months now, and it has been a wonderful experience! From the very beginning, Kim and Morgan were phenomenal. They treated me like a friend. I am in Northstar, and I absolutely love it. I can’t imagine being anywhere else. My apartment was spotless, and the complex is peaceful and safe. If I’ve ever had an issue, I just logged a ticket in the convenient portal and maintenance arrived within 24 hours to fix the problem. I’ve never rented before, but this has been a great experience!! No maintenance, no law care....it is all taken care of for me! It’s like having a husband without the hassle of a man in the house. ;) They even come out once a month to change the central air filters! I will be renewing my lease in February!
