I was checking on an order for some 3/4" riser extenders on Friday and they couldn't ship out until the next Monday. Before shipping the product they did not quote a freight cost! Even though the sales associate thought it was a high cost for freight, he shipped it without confirming I still wanted the product! THIS IS A WARNING TO EVERYONE WHO BUYS PRODUCT FROM WINSUPPLY, BE SURE YOU GET A FREIGHT QUOTE BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER, UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU'RE PAYING FOR THE PRODUCT. I found the product elswhere for slightly less cost per piece and WITHOUT any additional freight cost! It would be a good customer service procedure to always quote the freight cost before shipping an order, unless the buyer explicitly asked to ship it ASAP. As a result of Winsupply's actions, it cost more than twice the price per piece for this purchase! I'm don't plan on dealing with Winsupply in the future unless they change their procedures about quoting freight before an order is placed! I WON'T BE CONTACTING THEM TO FIND OUT IF THEY HAVE EITHER!
