😀This fun gift shop is located in the 🤠Goldfield Ghost Town👻 in Apache Junction, Arizona.🌵
They sell all kinds of Arizona and Western souvenirs in all price ranges. They also sell old fashioned candies and delicious homemade fudge.😋
If you are a lover of handmade fudge 🥣, I highly recommend that you come and give it a try. They sell most flavors for about $7-$8 a 1/4 pound or about $28-$32 a pound. I read some other reviews that thought that was priced high, but there are not a lot of places that sell homemade fudge in the Phoenix area unless you get up really early on a Saturday for a farmers market or you head to a shopping mall. I believe that this store is open every day from 10am-5pm, except Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. They use real cream and have traditional and unique fudge flavors like prickly pear cactus and fudge with real gold!🎇 😋The BEST part is that if you come by to visit them, they will let you sample a FREE piece of fudge before you buy it!
The Mercantile has plenty of free parking and the view of the Superstition Mountains is amazing from their front door! 😍
The employees are welcoming and friendly. 😀
There is a ramp and path a bit further down from the front staircase that leads to the entrance.
The Ghost Town is FREE to visit with LOTS of FREE Parking! The different attractions vary in price but average about $10-$12 each, per person. The buildings are old and some are historic and the town tries to cater to all, but many structures/shops at Goldfield either don't allow or are not accessible with strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs.
So, if you live in the Phoenix area or you are a visitor to Arizona, Mother Lode Mercantile is a fun place to visit to find some cool Arizona merchandise and to buy some delicious homemade fudge. 💖
If you can't make it out to their store, you can also order their fudge on...

Everyone that works in this Ghost town clearly loves what they do!
We started our day off watching the shoot-out act and everyone was very entertaining!
Then we made our way into the hat shop. Everyone was amazing from the moment we walked in, where we were greeted by William and Joel (to the 3rd time we walked out lol!) Dian and Billy took their time with me custom making my hat and were very patient with my indecisiveness. But it was well worth it, because I love my hat! They all make you feel at home in this store and the time spent in it.
Remi also did a great job on the Mine Tour, very knowledgeable!
The coffee shop also had the best cinnamon bun, and delicious Prickly Pear lemonade & a Bee Sting latte!
The fudge shop was our end of day stop, and I have to say I’ve been converted to liking fudge… but only from this store! I’ll have to come back to Phoenix just to have more. ;)
All in all, everyone we dealt with today was very pleasant! We wish you all the success!
Thank you so much!

Read moreBest Fudge EVER!! Especially the Prickly Pear fudge. I visit Goldfield Ghost Town & Mine anywhere from 3-6 times a year, and I always have to stop by the Mercantile before I leave. Even when I intend to not buy any sweets, I cannot resist their fudge. My favorites are the Prickly Pear, the Gold Nugget (with real gold flecks on it), the seasonal Lemon Meringue pie (with real Graham cracker crust) and their NEW Sugar-free Chocolate are delectable and AMAZING with every mouthful. Plus, anyone can get free samples if they would like a taste before buying the fudge, which is always nice. And the customer service and the warm welcome is always a plus in my book. I just love this place...this whole historic town, actually. I highly recommend stopping in and getting some of the best...
