First of all, they never answer the phone. I’ve call a dozen times, at different times of the day, and I always get voice mail, and they call back when they are good and ready. Maytag washer, three year warranty, purchased from Lowe’s. They sent this company to investigate a leak from my washer. The guy comes out, works on the washer, and tells my wife that he needs “a part”. Didn’t say what part, just said that if they had it at the shop he’d be back next day, if not, it would be about a week. Two weeks later, I call, and leave a message. I get a call back the next day saying “the last part came in today, and he’ll be back tomorrow”. He comes back, works on it, and tells my wife that he needs to order another part. I call when I get home, and leave another message. A week later, I get a call back saying that the part is in and he’ll be back the next day. I question why he didn’t order all the parts the first time, citing his statement that we needed “a part” then being told that multiple parts were ordered, and “the last part” had come in. The dispatcher basically said that he broke something while making the repair, and had to order another part. When I questioned this, she backtracked and said that he didn’t break anything, he “couldn’t see” the other broken part during his initial visit. He returned next day, was in the house less than five minutes, then left, saying “you’re all set”. No paperwork to sign or anything. I got home and found it to be leaking worse than it was...

Unlike some companies that seem to treat us like we live on the moon, when I called Coflin and it was no problem for them to send someone to our home to take a look at it. Coflin is very customer focused. Linda, who I spoke to on the phone, was very professional and a delight to work with throughout the whole process. She kept me informed the whole way and provided me a very reasonable service window. Most companies seem to want you to be available the entire day. Jason, the technician, was very nice, showed up as scheduled, promptly diagnosed the issue, said they would let us know when the part was in, showed up when promised, and fixed the problem.
