Really love that so many produce vendors are organic! Quite a few vendors offer different varieties of produce than what is typically found in supermarkets. Swoon!
Love that vendors selling prepared food, such as locally made goat cheese, use local, organic ingredients!
For those who like to make their own products with organic herbs, oils, etc. they have them there! Vendors sell both small amounts and living plants.
You can really do the majority of your shopping there.
Besides excellent produce, easily found items include: Honey, beeswax, tea, coffee, cheese, eggs, oysters, dried beans, baked goods, plants, and flowers.

I also love the fact that for us low income working poor people who get "food stamps", as they used to be known, that they will match you dollar for dollar up to $10 so you're $10 is now $20. I think that is awesome. I love supporting the farmers market. You get good quality organic produce and help support the local small farms, you might pay a little bit more but it's better quality & like my brother says pay more now for better food or pay later...
