Art Center — Local services in Arcata

I’m going to start this by saying that the people who work here are amazing and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Recently a family member went here to buy me some colored pencils. The colored pencils that I could have gotten online for $40 DOLLARS we’re $104 DOLLARS!!!!!! I want to support local businesses and understand overhead and you pay a little more... LITTLE MORE. This is seriously criminal to be sold at MORE than twice it’s value. And to end please still support local. But when it comes to art supplies...

I LOVE THIS STORE!!! I've been a customer since 2014 and look forward to being one for many years to come. :) They have an extraordinarily diverse selection of materials to create with, tons of puzzles and posters, and something new around every aisle. The staff are so friendly and well-rounded in their own art, and they can answer any questions you might have about materials or practices. They offer a nice discount to students and teachers! And they'll order supplies for you as needed. I can't praise...

Very disappointed with the service this store provides! Beware they do not allow any returns regardless of if you have the receipt. I went by the store today with my younger brother who paid for a compass with his hard earned chore money. When we got home and tried to use it it turned out that the compass was faulty. When we returned to the store and asked for a refund the lady refused to even look at it. You are better off ordering...
