The Fireplace — Local services in Arcata

My friends own this dispensary and asked me to leave a google review. I am biased in that sense but I also know the other owners of dispensaries in this town, they are all great. If you were passing through Arcata and only had time to stop one place, I would recommend The Fireplace. There is no swag here, all headies. I feel like a lot of dispensaries have a top shelf and everything else is mid. No matter what the price range, it’s all good here. All dispensaries have their own way of doing things. Some have a digital menu, some have budtenders that are very knowledgeable, others with let you see the product on a shelf that you can touch. the Fireplace has all of that and it’s easy to access whichever way feels best. I’ve gone in and out in 5 minutes and I’ve also spent an hour in there looking at everything. The Fireplace is fun, the owners and employees support a lot of local art and music. Their house brand, Royal Budline is always fire and affordable. If you ever got that good shit from Humboldt back in the day, it may have been in this dispensary’s heritage. Duke is a Don and Vanessa is a Goddess, they work hard and love what they do. Spark it up with The Fireplace.

I've pretty much never had a bad experience there. The staff is always very kind and patient. They know their menu well and don't try to BS you when they haven't tried a product. I started going here because it was on the way but now I go out of my way to stop there for my medicine. They even offer a veterans discount and they refused to remove it when I asked, (always give small businesses more money!!!) when I was informed that the store is vet-owned and operated!

Something about The Fireplace just makes me smile and (pun only kind of intended) warms my heart every time. As I write this I realize I forgot to tip my budtender and will be going back to fix...

This is my hands down, first choice dispensary. They have great product, do their best to keep it in stock, and are certainly knowledgeable if you need suggestions or information. It seems that they are affiliated / farmer-owned, and I love the Royal Budline flower in particular. I buy the solar power outdoor, a great value at $20 per 8th.
