WORST ATTEMPTED REPAIR EXPERIENCE EVER! 61 days and counting from the first call to Ruffoni's and my oven is still broken.
My insurance company made an appointment with Ruffoni's September 22, 2018. It is now November 15th. Yesterday, I was told that it would be at least TWO to THREE more weeks before they could get the THIRD part they ordered to attempt to repair my oven.
So far I have had FOUR visits from Ruffoni technicians to my home.
The wrong parts were installed TWICE (so far).
There was ONE no-show appointment that was made my my insurance company. (The receptionist told me they NEVER come on the appointments the insurance companies schedule.)
I was told THREE times by a receptionist that someone would call me back and they didn't.
My cabinetry was damaged during the SECOND visit. I was not notified of the damage at any point by anyone.
My work order was cancelled by Ruffoni's ONCE, with no notification , or explanation. (My insurance company had to call them to "remind" them of their contractual obligation to complete the repair. Then a new work order was opened.)
I was told yesterday that it would be at least TWO to THREE weeks until Ruffoni's expects to receive the THIRD part they ordered, since it is "special order." I mentioned my concern about not having a functional oven to cook Thanksgiving dinner for my three small children. The receptionist responded to my by saying, ("Well....,I didn't break it.....)
I have wasted hours of my life on the phone with my insurance company, and days of my life waiting around my house to accommodate their ALL DAY appointment windows. This is SAD and abusive...
Read moreMy son was kind enough to give us a new washer for my birthday. He had purchased it at Costco. It was a stackable but they did not provide the bracing for a stackable machine. The gas line connector they provided was top short. That was on a Friday and I fretted over the inconvenience this had caused. I was ready to send it back. The matching washer we had purchased 3 years prior from Ruffoni's. I went over there and they send 3 people to take care of moving the new dryer from thetop of the stack. They put in the necessary braces for the washer and dryer to safely run without fear of vibrating off the dryer and doing serious damage or bodily harm to me or my wife. They tested both the washer and dryer to insure they worked safely together. The work was completed in less than an hr. Problem solved quickly with no stress or worry about safety concerns . Read moreI'm a longtime customer of Ruffoni's going on well over a decade now. I'm a Real Estate Broker and Property Manager so I have used and referred them countless times over the years. In my line of work, Service Providers are more often than not very hit or miss and just when you find someone solid, something tends to change, whether the quality diminishes, they close down their business, change jobs, etc. Ruffoni's has been top quality in our area for a very long time. It's very impressive that they have been able to maintain all aspects of a top quality business function.
The Reps on the phone or email are consistently professional and highly capable. The Repair Technicians, while they do change from time to time of course, always turn out to be top tier.
I highly recommend you have the Ruffoni's Team check out your appliance before you decide to trash and buy a brand new one, it will likely save you a lot of money as well as save a perfectly functional appliance from the landfill.
