After posting my initial one star review, Kevin at Appliance Brokers Limited called me and did arrange to replace the malfunctioning Frigidaire stove. I’ve improved my rating to three stars as a result. ABL brought me a slightly more expensive 18 inch Beko (new European brand) and installed it in a timely way. I admit I’m still a bit afraid to use it after the last experience, and it has taken some practice keeping the burners lit (you have to hold in the control knob for a good 5 seconds once lit, maybe longer for oven and broiler) but it seems like a good solution to my problem and I am relieved this stove drama has ended nicely due to Kevin’s help. I wish it hadn’t taken a one-star Google review to get to this point, but I’ve learned a lot through the experience. Before going to small claims court, try posting a detailed, negative review on Google. Kevin called within 8 minutes of my initial posting.

I am deeply disappointed in Appliance Brokers Limited of Asbury Park having purchased two Frigidaire appliances from them in May 2021-24 inch range, 18 inch dishwasher. The range never worked right from the start, with the burners turning on only 50% of the time. The oven worked once for one 30 minute pizza and never again. Appliance Brokers has done nothing to help, not even return my calls, requiring me to spend hours on the phone with call center workers in the Philippines trying to line up a repair visit. Yesterday the A&E repair man came and spent 1:40 hours trying to fix the stove. He ordered a thermostat for the oven and four new caps for the range and won't be back for three weeks. When he left I had a splitting headache due to gas leaks and have no functioning cook top or oven with a $749 brand new appliance. I then drove to ABL for help but they claimed they couldn't replace the appliance. In other words, they chose not to replace the appliance. My only recourse is to post an honest review of this terrible appliance and terrible appliance broker on google. Avoid Frigidaire 2021 model stoves and avoid Appliance Brokers Limited of Asbury Park. From the minute we walked in, without an appointment, I might add, we were treated with courtesy and professionally. Kevin was our sales associate. He guided us through the many options of appliance buying. We purchased 4 major appliances and felt sure of our decision as soon as we left the store. Hate to compare it with big box stores where no one knows anything about what they are selling but there are many options available often without begin able to tell one model from the other. When the products were delivered they came in perfect shape also another plus from a big box store where no one seems to care and will deliver a scratched or dented product. Our installers can not be praised enough. We were afraid our dishwasher would be a problem because of two floors that had been installed. They even joked about a big box store not being able to fit it and that they would just offer to take it back or leave it, but they asked some questions and they got it to fit perfectly. Then the refrigerator which honestly we didn't realize how big it was. I measured the distance between the upper cabinets, and assumed the lower cabinet was the same, but it was an inch too big. Again, the installers removed the counter top, which was going to be replaced anyway to get it to fit. AND they had to take our screen door and front door off the hinges to fit the refrigerator in. They were here for over four hours. We have purchased items from a big box store before and they specifically state that they will not remove doors in the contract. ABS appliance Brokers Lld. is called “ABS” for the “Absolute Best Service!”. I don’t write reviews for establishments unless they are amazing. This place stands out. I was in the market for a range. I did my due diligence and researched many ranges and went to many establishments. I was extremely disappointed that most of the sales reps had no clue what they were talking about. Many had no interest to even sell me a range. I finally decided to drive an hour to try ABS. I am so glad I did! I was greeted immediately upon entering the store. The sales rep, Kevin, showed me the model I wanted to see. He answered all my questions and help me come to the conclusion that the model I was interested in did not meet my expectations. He was not pushy in any way. I asked him to show me a range that would fit my needs. He showed me a range I never even considered. I was so impressed that Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. If he did not know something he found out by calling the rep. I appreciated that he was able to be factual and not full of bologna. My range was delivered today (two weeks after purchase!). I am so pleased with this purchase!
