El Sabor Oaxaqueno — Restaurant in Asbury Park

This is authentic Mexican food not tacos from Taco Bell. They make everything from scratch. The tortillas are made by hand and it just doesn’t get better than that. They had a variety of Mexican food but my favorite are the tacos. I get chorizo, steak, chicken, el pastor and carnitas. They come with jalapeños, lime, onion blooms and cucumber. They are made to order and always taste fresh and well seasoned. They have fresh pressed natural juices which is awesome. Best part is the bakery on premises. Everything is made there and it just smells like heaven when you walk in. Staff is very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Only down side is you will have to break out your tricks to communicate because most of the staff is Spanish speaking only but I enjoy using my hands to explain what I want and we have a good laugh every time. I order a cake for my daughter's birthday. I order a ENCANTO decor with her name and age. What I receive was not what I expected they truly ruin my daughter's day. I would not recomend this place to anyone. There was no effort in to even take the doll our of the box and decorate the cake with the ENCANTO theme. On top of all that the box with the doll was dirty and not clean.I expected this place to be a good establishment since I have been eating here for the last couple of months with 10 of my coworkers.
