We'll, tonight we had a late dinner. Anita cooked so I could lie on a heating pad. Had a rare back ache and can hardly walk today. I know it's because of the rain and gray skies, I hate winter!! Anyway, we discovered we had one cigarette between us, and it was 10:00, so off we went to our local neighborhood store! We are so lucky they haven't changed to winter hours yet. When they do they'll be closing at 10:00, not 11:00. But they were open for us tonight, and we really, really appreciate them for that. They are looking for help if anybody needs work: nights and weekends, but it's a nice place. They have a gas station that turns to u-pump after six pm, (thank God), cause you're outta luck if you need gas between there and Astoria otherwise. They have propane, and there's an ATM there and the Columbia Rider stops there too. And the Logger Restaurant and Lounge is right across the street!
