Knappa Market — Local services in Astoria

We'll, tonight we had a late dinner. Anita cooked so I could lie on a heating pad. Had a rare back ache and can hardly walk today. I know it's because of the rain and gray skies, I hate winter!! Anyway, we discovered we had one cigarette between us, and it was 10:00, so off we went to our local neighborhood store! We are so lucky they haven't changed to winter hours yet. When they do they'll be closing at 10:00, not 11:00. But they were open for us tonight, and we really, really appreciate them for that. They are looking for help if anybody needs work: nights and weekends, but it's a nice place. They have a gas station that turns to u-pump after six pm, (thank God), cause you're outta luck if you need gas between there and Astoria otherwise. They have propane, and there's an ATM there and the Columbia Rider stops there too. And the Logger Restaurant and Lounge is right across the street! They've got a nice selection for such a small store, and most of the people are nice. But for the people who may stop in once, having 1 unsavory employee can dampen business. And for the locals, it makes them just want to drive in to Astoria. Much like the brown haired girl with glasses that's working today. Convenient location for traveling down 101 and if you want to stop before you get to Astoria it's a good idea in the summertime if you don't plan on stopping there to just pass on through this makes that possible.This place could be a little bit cleaner but I guess I got to give it to him you have a bunch of loggers and truckers coming in and out it's probably hard to keep clean.
