Prices significantly different at cash register that posted. Cashier said sorry you need to go to "Customer Service." Waited at customer service for over 10 minutes before any one cared to help me. They asked where I got them in the store, and then told me sorry they are not marked down. They never checked their signs and did not seem to care. Had them refund my whole purchase and left the store for the LAST time. I will drive to Lowe's or go to Miners (they are not usually any more expensive anyhow. One star was being generous.

Buying the products and getting them ordered took forever. Initial install was fine but done poorly. I explained to the installers I wanted my baseboards to rest on top of my floating hardwood but was not done and now I have to call a third contractor to come out and fix their mistakes. Left large spaces between the walls and floor even though there is plenty of space under my baseboards. Also baseboards were not remkves or lowered down to correct height.

Home Depot is a great store. Opens early enough to get an early start on the day. To lumber to patio furniture, and gardening supplies you can find it at The Home Depot. Most of the staff is knowledgeable. You can rent tools by the hour or even by the day. Some Home Depot even offer truck rentals. At Christmas time you can even purchase a fresh tree.

Yes, this is the second time that I’ve been into the store and all I have gotten is rude, obnoxious unhelpful people. my wallet get stolen so my hands were tied as far as having physical copies of my credit cards or debit cards, drivers license, etc. and I needed a tool for work the next day for a 6 am job. so I went online and ordered the part and went into the store. This was 9 o’clock at night. The store was empty. There was no lines. I went to the The customer support desk and the two gentlemen, I shouldn’t give them that respect the two boys laughed at me and basically said they wouldn’t help me. I called corporate I went and picked up my own products because I already bought them. I already own them, and proceeded to talk to the manager, the manager took care of me swiftly and did a great job. If I could give him five stars, I would. the two gentlemen behind the customer support desk at 9 o’clock at night on. August 1, 2023 I would’ve fired on the spot. the type of attitude that was shown by them tonight will take them nowhere in life . Give up,laziness ,poor effort ,bad attributes for the Home Depot brand I don’t know what happened with customer support but it seems that gone down hill lately in all Home Depot’s. I’ll tell you what the manager represented the Home Depot brand very well tonight the two employees that I ask for help did not. They acted like little kindergartners who don’t know how to solve problems. I will not be back to this store to try and be helped by...

I came into the Atascadero Home Depot needing blinds custom cut. When I first asked an associate for help, she quickly told me the machines for cutting blinds were all down, that they were waiting on new ones, and that staff still needed training. She didn’t ask what kind of blinds I needed or check whether anything could be done—she just suggested I drive 20 minutes to the San Luis Obispo location. If I had stopped there, I would have wasted time and not gotten what I urgently needed that day.

Thankfully, I asked another associate, Violet, and she was an absolute angel. She not only listened to what I needed but also let me know that the machine for basic blinds was already installed and working. She kindly and efficiently cut the blinds to the exact size I needed and was pleasant and professional the entire time. She truly saved the day and provided excellent customer service.

The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because the first associate didn’t even try to problem-solve or ask clarifying questions. That lack of initiative could easily cause customers to leave frustrated and empty-handed. I’d recommend Home Depot focus on ensuring all associates are informed about which machines are up and running, so they can give accurate guidance and not inadvertently send people elsewhere unnecessarily.

Huge thanks and admiration to Violet for going above and beyond—I hope Home Depot recognizes the value she brings...

We took advantage of a great deal last year and bought a Samsung range during a Black Friday sale at a different Home Depot--the deal included installation. We had told the associate we had not built our house yet, but HD said we could get the range installed at a later date. Sounded great. Six or seven months later we tried to set up installation and contacted our local HD store in Atascadero and were told it was too late-we were told we only had 90 days (we didn't know that). We spent several months and lots of calls to Shannon trying to get Home Depot to honor the promotion and finally gave up and paid someone out of pocket to install the appliances last month. When Suburban came out to hook up the range, we learned it had a leak. Our handyman called the Atascadero Home Depot--within the one year warranty--but they told him Samsung had to be called, but took no responsibility for selling a defective product and never mentioned the warranty was about to be up. We contacted Samsung on Monday--one year and one day after the range was delivered and also called the Home Depot store where we purchased it--and now after speaking to several people, Home Depot is refusing to cover repairs b/c we contacted Samsung one day beyond a year. So we were sold a defective range and now WE are expected to pay to fix it (if it can even be fixed) even though it has been in a box since delivery. I am so disappointed...
