My family visited about a year ago with our newborn. We were greeted by a very nice lady upon entering. We had seen a blue desk on the Facebook and she directed us to where it was. We walked around a little bit and decided to get the desk. Upon leaving, another lady asked “did you find everything ok?” I responded “yes,” and her reply was “is it in there?” while she pointed at our baby carrier. My biggest regret is going ahead with our purchase, I should’ve left the desk and spent my money elsewhere. I haven’t shopped at Lexington since, and in previous visits we have made several purchases. Just a thought for whoever made the comment: just because I’m in leggings, wearing my hair in a bun, and lacking makeup doesn’t mean I would ever steal from your store and put it in a baby carrier. Next time extend a little more compassion to a sleep deprived mama aching for a little...
Read moreI discovered Lexington Vintage back in February of 2020. I had driven by the place many times, but did not realize what I had been missing! The owner is very passionate about the shop and keeps everything neat, well-stocked, and interesting. The multiple vendors have different styles, so you can find everything from Bo-ho, 60's vibe, junque, antiques, to all sorts of repurposed items. If you see something you like, you should probably go ahead and buy it because it will likely sell before you can get back. Ask me how I know this....Anyway, everyone in the shop I have spoken with is very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. I love wandering through the shop to see what new treasures I can find. The vendors update their booths frequently, so it is never the same shop twice. Prices are also very...
Read moreI used to love coming here, it was a treat. Today I went and two men who worked in the security office on the upstairs floor were talking loudly saying gross things about men getting “shot in the nuts with tear gas” while another man exclaimed “good! They are getting paid to be there!” The conversation didn’t stop there and completely ruined the good music and pretty vintage pieces. I don’t care what their political views are, but the world is ugly enough and I come vintage shopping as an escape. I wish the conversations were more mindful or respectful, there were other women upstairs shopping and it felt rude loudly talking about people get “shot in the nuts”…… it’s gross conversation to be forced to hear while I am looking at pretty ceramic and...
