I have been collecting R. Wood pieces for over 10 years. They're gorgeous. Each piece has rich, beautiful color (achieved through several glazings, I think), everything is handmade and therefore unique. I buy these as gifts--as which they've been very popular--and for myself. I'm a bit obsessed by the bowls: the 13" Everything Bowl is huge and awesome for fruit or large salads, and I don't think a day goes by that I don't use my 8 1/2" Everything Bowl. They also won't make any promises they can't keep; the way the pieces are packed and shipped is the best I've ever seen; and they are very environmentally conscious, which I appreciate. Honestly, I don't have a single quibble--R. Wood Studio is fantastic. It's just the kind of creative, local, small business everybody wants to have...

I love how food looks in...
