I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. My food order came to 8.31. I gave the drive thru employee 8.36 and expected a nickel in return. She didn’t give it to me so I asked for the nickel she owed me. She said she hasn’t counted it and thought it was exact change. I said no it wasn’t. So she went to get it and the came back and questioned my integrity by asking me if I was sure I gave her 8.36. I said yes I’m sure and I’m not trying to scam you out of a nickel!. But I wanted this to be a lesson to this young employee - always remember to count the money you are given. This is one of the responsibilities of her job. Well I was obviously offended by her actions. She then went on to ask me if I was having a good day. I said yeah until you questioned my integrity. She then told me not to take it out on her!! Well then I asked to talk to the manager. She listened to my account of the encounter with this employee. And said ok. That’s it. So I drove off but decided if that’s the way it was going to be handled then I didn’t want to be a customer anymore. I took back my food and asked the manager for my money back. She asked me again what happened. I said that I had just told her. She said well what did you want me to do about it. I said at the very least ask the employee to apologize to me. And make sure your employees are counting the cash they are given and entering that amount into the case register. Then give the customer the change due to them. They don’t even have to do the math in their head. She kept interrupting me, while I was trying to answer her question so I just asked for my money. She went to get it and yelled to an employee to check my bag to make sure it was all there! Unbelievable! I will not go back to that location or deliver food from that location. Too many customer service and training issues. And four dollars for a small...
Read moreRude customer service from the night crew this evening. The cashier does not understand the coupons on the app. She stated that if we press the button prior to her seeing us press the button it means that it's used. Having used the coupons in the app hundreds of times at this point, this is the first time anyone has told us we have to press the button in front of them before (especially since there's a timer counting down and it was barely 30 seconds into the coupon being opened)...but she raised her voice, acted very unprofessionally when she talked over me, telling me to 'Listen' as she explained the coupon rules back to me. Not very mature for a manager... especially since we did nothing wrong but use a darn coupon. Wont be back. There's 3 other DQ's in the area. You can also back out...and redeem the coupon again if it's not been used...so again, please train your staff for...
Read moreThe good old days of Dairy Queen are gone. I bought a banana split as a one-time special treat. It's been more than ten years since the last time I had one from Dairy Queen. There was no strawberry ice cream with pineapple topping on chocolate ice cream with Marshmello topping. The was vanilla soft serve only with a tea spoon of strawberry and vanilla soft serve with a tea spoon of chocolate topping and vanilla soft serve with whipped cream. The presentation also sucked with the bananas randomly chopped up in an oval plastic takeout box. They should come up with another name for this concoction rather than desecrating the name banana split. The will be the last time for me to order this concoction from...
