Boot Barn — Local services in Athens

They claim to carry work wear. They only had men's styles and sizes of work boots in stock (Men's 8.5 being the smallest). Those are too large to fit any of the female members of my family. Real women do hard work and deserve to have high quality, safe and rugged work wear available in sizes that fit correctly with reasonable comfort and won't interfere with their ability to do a great job. Well it's been a long time since I wrote that review and nothing significant has changed. Apparently only one of the manufacturers they carry takes working women seriously and then if they are not petite. . None offer a black (the employer's requirement) work shoe, with a slip resistant sole in a size 6.5 or smaller. The only store in town with a shoe that fits the requirement doesn't carry the quality brands like...

Awesome place, the lady that help me out was very nice and knowledgeable about everything I needed to know, where they was, and how to take care of them. Even through in a $12. Bottle of boot conditioner to help with the braking in phase. Great price on my boots found on clearance for $116.00 + tax tittle and license. They are a $180.00 pair of Double-H, plus when she signed me up for promotion that gave me another 14% along with the conditioner she threw in... I felt like a king. Got out only paying $112.ish. I have been buying Harley Davidson riding boots for years and every year the quality is just not there and the boots don’t even last six months. So, I decided to give Milwaukee Leather a chance and let me tell you, right out of the box, the quality well surpasses Harley Davidson. Everything from the leather, straps and the sole of the boots are far better material.
