I absolutely love Cameo Salon. My hairdresser Katie worked at a different salon a while back, and I followed her when she moved to Cameo. I was nervous that although Katie would be a familiar face, the prices would change or the salon wouldn’t be what I was used to. I’m so happy I followed her! Cameo is a great salon with kind employees, fair prices, so much parking it’s ridiculous, and always on time with their appointments. They don’t pressure you into buying products or doing more with your haircut, and are great with working with your budget. If anyone is looking for a standard color, complete hair 180, balayage, fun colors, or just a loving hairdresser that listens to your needs, visit Katie or anyone else at Cameo! If it’s worth my 45min drive from Woodstock, it’ll be worth it for you too. They take Covid and cleanliness seriously - my only complaint is that I can’t hug Katie at the end of each visit, which although I totally agree with, it kills me not to thank her profusely each...

Full disclosure, I’ve been with Cameron for hair color since 2017 and I would follow him to literally any salon, not only because he’s an incredible colorist with a very good eye, but because I like him. A ton. That said, Cameo Salon is a lovely little salon just on the Kirkwood/Oakhurst line right by the new Perc coffe house. The salon itself is very bright, comfortable, airy and CLEAN. Only four stylists can work at any given time, and for COVID this has been a godsend. I feel safe. I see all surfaces wiped, temps taken at the door, hands washed, masks worn. These folks are professional, and kind, not to mention stellar at their jobs. Lots of gorgeous hair here, folks....

I love getting my hair cut by Alex at this salon. She's so genuinely kind and never judges me for my utter lack of knowledge around hair care. When I went in for my last haircut, I mentioned that I'm looking for a shampoo and conditioner combo that'll work better for my hair, and Alex sent me home with 5 different shampoo/conditioner samples and instructions for how to experiment with them to see how they work on my curly hair. She truly cares about making sure I love my hair well beyond the haircut she's giving me at the time. It doesn't hurt that the salon is stunning as well!
