I came to my appointment on time. I asked for Maya she was on the phone and inattentive while being nonchalant. Her staff member who was nice asked me what I wanted. I showed her pictures and explained that I want small Senegalese twists to my mid back. At that time Maya started speaking in her native language to her staff. I can tell she was talking about me in a negative way. As well as trying to find a way to get out of doing my hair. She thought by telling me that the cost would be $350 that I would say no. But instead I asked her did she accept card or cash. She then said cash only!! As I went to leave to go to an ATM she stopped me to see the length on my hair. I showed her and she claimed that my hair was too short. Which is a lie because my hair is a full length Afro. I have had my hair shorter and still was able to have it braided in the past. Itās obvious that Maya just didnāt want to do it. And instead of being honest and explaining why she came up with a fake and lame excuse.
