"Well played Perkerson Park. Well played. You beat me this time, but I'll be back. I'll be back.". In all seriousness, Don't let it fool you, it will kick your butt, even as a intermediate player. It is definitely not for beginners. The course is incredible. Well planned. Lots of hiking through the woods, lots of elevation change. Most holes are either up hill or downhill. You'll get a legit hiking workout. All holes are pretty far, except #4, which is pretty close. Lots of trees in the way. Several water hazards. Great course but very difficult. I played through as a single, at a quick pace and it still took me 2 hours to complete all 18 holes and I was completely exhausted...

The front nine plays back and forth around a playground and baseball field. The back is more challenging with tighter, more heavily wooded shots. Encroaching plant life makes the walk paths through and between look like scenes from a fairy tale. A creek/water canal winds it's way throughout coming into play on 8 of the 18 holes. With 2 pads, and 2 or 3 pin placements per hole, there's enough variety for anyone. Nice for most levels of play, a fat old exsmoker, I finished 3 under from the red pads. I will be back to...

Hilly, moderately wooded, with a splash pad near the hole 4 tee for cooling off after a round. Park near the rec Center and playground, then go round the center to the left along hole 4. Cross the bridge and look for Tee 1. Dog friendly (on leashes) but be sure to use tick protection on you and pups. This park is also less than 1/4 mile from the Atlanta...
