Horrible Service

I visited the Bobby Jones location and found a sofa and 1/2 chair bluish grey in color for $699. A week later I stopped by to make my purchase and arrangements to pickup the sofa and 1/2 chair. At the time I arrived it was 10 'til closing (7p). I expressed my concerns to what I wanted but the salesrep (Adrian) didn't bother actually going to retrieve the information for the furniture. After Adrian sold me on a deal based on the salesprice I advised him that I wanted to use my store credit. The dynamic of the conversation quickly changed and boy did he show it. Angelica confirmed the style & color but neither she or Adrian cared to walk back to the showroom to see...their attitude was that they knew exactly what I was talking about.

Arrangements were made with the Mgr (Jose) to pickup the furniture from the Gordon Hwy location 2 days later. I left work early and arrived at the Gordon Hwy location 15min to 5p. I spoke with Jose who advised that the furniture would be arriving shortly after he'd called. I advised a young store rep that I would wait outside in the truck I was driving.

About 30mins later a black male driving a delivery truck pulls up and advised that he had my furniture from the Bobby Jones location. I advised him that the bluish grey furniture was mine. The furniture was loaded and I was on my way.

The following day I received a call at work from my Husband who was furious. He informed me that Jose called and said that I'd stolen furniture from him. My former number and Husband's current number were listed on the recpt. as forms of contact, so I never received a call from Jose and this information was supplied to my Husband instead. I ultimately called Jose where he told me I "tried to take advantage of him" and "has filed a stolen report with the police".

I've purchased furniture from this business several times over the years from bedding, sofas even mattresses and box springs. I've never encountered any problems until recently when I was given the same furniture purchased by someone else. Jose did angrily agree to provide me a full cash refund for the mistake of his son Adrian.

Needless to say I will NEVER enter either of their locations again nor will I recommend this business now or in the future as their customer service was extremely rude, they are very uncoordinated and flat out disrespectful. If this keeps up I'm sure they'll be out of...

I recently purchased a mattress from this store. Was told it was a firm mattress, it felt good when I laid on it in store my husband laid on it and liked it, we did not lay on it at the same time til we got it home and was going to bed the mattress doesn't appear to be firm at all when I called the next day to ask about their return policy I was told that since I took the plastic off of it there was nothing they could do, It wasn't even 24 hours. I don't know anyone that leaves the plastic on a mattress when they are going to sleep on it. Also the sales person I talked to the next morning was very rude when he put me on hold I could hear him say I knew this was going to happen. Don't know what he meant by that. Purchased a sofa and loveseat in Aug of 2020, because of covid furniture didn't arrive until February 2021. Have only had furniture for 8 months and fabric has torn on left arm. Call store and they said I only had 1 year warranty from day of purchase. Half of warranty was spent waiting on furniture to arrive. Would not recommend this furniture store for any reason. I now have a thousand dollar couch and loves eating not a year old with 3 3inch tears. Have to trash both and buy another. Store didn't care about tears or warranty.
