I frequent this restaurant every Saturday either alone or with my children. Service is normally top-tier and the food is great. I normally visit because the kindness of the staff that works there today was different. I ordered a to go order and was there with my kids I normally Order the same thing as I did today a new face Miss Carmela took my order I normally order a one breakfast meal with an egg grits 2 strips of bacon. Miss Carmella wanted to get me to upgrade to a bigger meal. I didn’t want to because of the portion size after placing my order and paying for it I got my receipt back and noticed that I have been overcharged. I brought it to her attention. She went and got a manager, Miss Becky , who is normally very nice when I frequent wanted to stand and have a 10 minute conversation about the differences between the kids meal and the adult meal and if the the kids meal was for me my policy, I can’t order it because I’m not 12 and under. I told her I have my kids with me. You really don’t know if I’m ordering it for one of my children or myself and if I wanted to order a kids meal, I should be able to miss Becky reminded me of what the Waffle House policy stated she gave me a refund of where I was overcharged. Waited another 15 minutes for my food got my order got in my car got down the road and realized they left out a portion of my order. I have to turn around go get the rest of my order. I spent almost 45 minutes in this restaurant Trying to get my order corrected having a conversation about waffle House policy on the kids meal and got overcharged. Read moreI really find this ridiculous I go here and order a cheese steak melt and just a bowl of chili as I was ordering the waitress was talking to someone else while I was telling her my order so I asked her did she hear my order so she says with a sarcastic smile on her face,a nodding her head with a fake laugh and says to me I can multitask being smart but I let it go so I go to the bathroom and when I come out they tell me my food is ready so she says my total is 16.80 so I am gagged on the price so I am asked why so high but was ignored so I give them 13 dollars in cash and she say it will be 3.80 off the card which I look at the charges where they charged me 4.86 so when I finally get home I pulled out my food and wondering why I have ketchup in my bag so I looked so I didn't order hash browns but was charged for hash browns and even if she thought I ordered hash browns she didn't even ask me how would I like my hash browns and if she would have asked me that then these wouldn't have happen or if she wasnt being rude when she told me that she was ready for my order but talking at the same time i was telling her my order then she would have heard because if you talking to someone else you cant be listening to someone else and thought about going back up there but I live to far I was just on that side and also when trying to call you cant talk to no one but...
Read moreI arrived at the Waffle House located at 2057 Gordon Hwy Augusta Ga. 30906. I Sat down to order and waited for about 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. Placed an order for the Texas patty melt, sweet iced tea, and a waffle. Order was repeated and received food promptly. Arrived home to hopefully enjoy the meal and no waffle was in the bag, and I received no receipt. Called to have it taken off the card and was hung up on before my dispute was even heard. Rude because the employee mentioned what they aren't doing is taking call ins and and hung up before I could even discuss the issue. No professional greeting was given. I Called back calmly and stated my issue and was told I would have to return to the store. I went back to the store and asked for a full refund. Ticket was found as not having the waffle I ordered on it at all. I stated, the order was placed, however I don't wish to argue because I only have 2 hours to sleep before possibly doing a 13-16 hour shift. Could I just have the reimbursement pleased.
