One of my favorite places to window shop, even with the kids. My go to place for picking up gifts for my dad, who isn't just necessarily looking for something with "book value".. but things that are interesting, unique, and he can pull out and show off to his friends. There isn't any pressure here to buy anything, a relaxed shopping experience. The staff know their stuff inside and out and will answer any of your questions without any catch involved. I've never seen them ever get annoyed with my inexperienced questions, especially when I'm buying for someone else's interest. They always have great ideas if I simply let them know what my quest is about. My young kids loved to go through their miscellaneous box of foreign small change and old subway tokens and my daughter loved their similar stamp box. We, being the cheap-o sale, never felt pushed aside to dote on a more cash laden customer. For what little money I did part with them, I have felt like I gained so much from them. Came in to get a few things priced and was pleasantly surprised when the owner gave me the best price for my coins I have ever got! I was so impressed I bought by some of the guns I didn’t want anymore and again best prices for my inventory I have got! Plus the attention to me has been unmatched! They answered all my questions I had! Store was busy but I got the best deal and best service I have ever had. Went in to sell some old coins. I was greeted and asked what brought me in. I let them know and they went to get the gentleman who I assume owns the place. He went through and was efficient in doing so. I felt he offered a fair price and I left happy.

I know enough that the coins I brought in were probably worth double what I was offered, but I also know he has a business to run and also has to turn a profit himself. Certainly didn’t go in to haggle on pricing and if I felt the offer wasn’t fair I would have thanked him for his time and left.
