I’ve had the privilege of working with Visiting Angels recently, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care my loved one received. Two caregivers truly stood out during this experience: Courtney Rounds and Sondra Mize.

Sondra Mize has been absolutely wonderful. She has always been incredibly punctual, which provided a sense of reliability and peace of mind. Beyond that, her sweet, compassionate nature shines through in everything she does. Sondra takes the time to connect with my loved one, offering not only professional care but also genuine emotional support. Her kindness and patience have made a huge difference, and I’ve always felt reassured knowing she was there.

Courtney Rounds, on the other hand, is truly amazing. Her level of dedication and commitment goes above and beyond. Courtney is not just a caregiver; she’s a true advocate for her patients. What stands out about her is her ability to not only provide excellent physical care but also to engage emotionally and mentally. She’s insightful, always looking for ways to improve comfort and quality of life, and her positive energy is contagious. Courtney has been an absolute joy to work with, and her genuine passion for her job is clear in every interaction.

Together, both Sondra and Courtney made a world of difference in our caregiving experience. They are both reliable, compassionate, and exceptional at what they do. Do not use this service from these providers..My significant other had one of they HomeHealth aides, while I was working she was taking care of him the HomeHealth aide her name is keyonna ,conspired behind my back for her to take him and move him into her home so she can get his VA benefit.He’s 90 percent disabled she doesn’t know him at all she a complete stranger.While I was out running errands she took him his things and some of mine I never received any of my belongings back..Visiting Angels they fired her but what type of people are they hiring? Did they do a drug test, a full background check she violated me in every way imaginable.im so upset they didn’t even do much on my behalf I trusted a stranger to come into my home the last thing I would’ve thought was to be done like this.THIS IS A WARNING DO NOT HIRE FROM THIS PROVIDER😡😡😡😪 reply to comment ( It may not have been this location but it’s all Visiting Angels Service..I’m pretty sure you all follow the same hiring protocols with your hiring process. One star. The first caregiver VA send was great, helping my elderly mother around the house, give her a bath, and did exercises together. Unfortunately VA never sent that person back, prefer to return the same people whom just show up, passed out asleep in a chair, or spend the entire time on their cellphone, ignoring the patient. I been told by some of the workers to buy them food and drinks, which is not allowed. And they come and go as they please with in their shifts. We had some excellent caregivers who paid attention to my mother, but as the first, were not ever send back again.

The final straw was when management called our house saying my mother was cruel, and that they could not sending any more employees out. She said my mother swore at her, and the woman left the house shaking in tears. The same employee whom I was also in the house with, smiling as she left. Here is my mother, whom is frail and mainly deaf, confuse on what is going on, having VA yelling at her on the phone. I took the receiver from my mother, and told the person if that the way they feel, they can go to hell.

Afterwards, I found other people had bad experiences with other VAs through out the country. My advice is that I recommend everyone to do research before blindly signing up for a service that is really too...
