Wells Fargo Bank — Local services in Austin

Although I'm not a fan of banks in general, I have to say that this is a marvelous branch.

I only have credit card accounts and a mortgage with Wells Fargo, no checking or savings. I recently accidentally paid the wrong card accout. After speaking to a few people on the phone (and we all know how difficult it is to get a person on the phone with large companies), I decided to come talk to a banker.

I haven’t used this bank personally so I can only give 4 stars, but I had to make an appointment online with a few notes on a somewhat complicated situation that a loved one who is an account holder at another branch. Faith from this branch called me before my appointment, had already discussed all the ins and outs of with her manager and saved me a trip with several suggestions.

The personal banker suggested an option ($100 for opening a new account) by using the other bank debit card in WF ATM. Did as he suggested and its over 5 months I never got the $100. Checked with the personal bankers in the branch, no one seem to bother about it or even willing to help resolve this issue.

When I asked the WF customer service, they said its my headache to work with the branch to get this resolved and they don't bother about offers...
