Can never get a hold of them. Says they are open at 10:00. This is the fourth year I have tried to order my son's birthday cake from this location. The phone is busy from 10:00 a.m. until about 2 or 2:30 pm. Last year I tried to get them to give my contact info to the GM, the so called manager actually hung up on me. The excuse why they don't answer the phone has been the same every year....short staffed or very busy. To have a manager hang up on you is very unprofessional. I ended up last year going to Amherst, out of my way but much more professional staff. I have been listening to a busy tone since 10:05 today, it is 12:14 right now. They require 24 hours notice to order a cake. Can't get them to give that. I just ordered from the Rocky River store. They answered right away were very pleasant to speak to and assured me I will have my cake by Friday. And get this....they didn't hang up on me. I guess I will have to go out of my way every year around this time of the month to get a cake since the Avon lake store is rude, if you can actually get them to answer the phone. It's almost like they take the phone off the hook so they don't have to answer it. And when you go in to complain they get even more rude, if that's even possible. How an establishment can care so little and still be opened is beyond me. But they lost my business and a few people from work that order cakes for their kids won't go there...
   Read moreI went to the Dairy queen with my grandson. I had 2 coupons for either a free small sundae or upgrade to a small blizzard for 2.00. I placed my order at the speaker for 2 blizzards. I said I have coupons for them, ok pull around. I hand her the 2 coupons and 4.00. The blizzards are in a carrier she handed me. I said thanks, and she said I can only use one coupon per person. I said that there are two of us. She said she didn't care that's our policy. I am still holding the carrier out the window. She asked me what I wanted, I said drive away and enjoy them. She said no I will throw them away. Shut the window. I waited and waited. Finally someone else came to the window. I asked for the coupons and 4.00. She did. I was pissed, I went back and said I would like to speak with the manager. She said she was the acting supervisor and that I was wrong. I said please call someone, the other girl said NO . I said out of anger, you're a jerk. Once again someone else came to the window. And said one coupon per customer! UGH there's 2 of us. Please call someone I have NEVER had this problem before. And I said I'm sure the owner would like to know you threw them out and waisted money. Instead of reading and comprehend what it says.    Read moreDrive through was super long, so I decided to walk in to get faster service.. WHAT a joke đ¤Łđ¤Ł.. Cashier took my order.. 1 medium m&m blizzard with extra chocolate syrup and 1 medium strawberry sundae.. she made the Blizzard, which I took out to my hubby. I walked back in and waited patiently for the sundae.. after 15 minutes, she asked me what I was waiting on.. I politely told her, while handing her my receipt that I was waiting on the strawberry sundae.. she said okay I'll get it now.. which she didn't The dining area was trashy , tables were dirty, trash cans needed empty. Drive thru was utterly backed up. All the while employees were chatting about when they get off work. After 30 Minutes of them still not putting forth a effort to make the sundae, I told the cashier I want my money back I no longer want the sundae..the manager with florescent purplish/ pinkish hair asked me what my problem was.. I told her I wanted a refund and I took my business elsewhere.. Corporate needs to make a surprise visit to this Dairy Queen location,, all employees need fired including management.. the same vehicles that were in line when my husband and I arrived were still waiting when we left.. I will never go to this location again.. they deserve 0( zero stars) .. I've also contacted the Better Business...
