Valley Golf Center — Local services in Avondale

I usually don't do this... I have purchased three full sets of golf clubs from Valley golf in the past as well as some other items because I lived right down the road, I have also purchased four more sets from a few of the other golf stores in town over the years (I buy new clubs every year and even sooner some times) my wife and I went to Valley golf last summer to buy her new golf shoes, we paid $100 for a pair of Nike golf shoes, she golfs once a month and the shoes have been worn maybe 12 times at the most... the top of the shoes are both torn at the big toe area and her toe will actually show through the top of the shoe, the material used is a fairly thin open mesh material. Yesterday my wife and I brought the shoes back to see if there was anything that could be done, we walked up to the counter, my wife put the shoes on the counter top and asked if there anything that could be done (mind you the shoes look brand new) she said even some credit towards a new pair of shoes, the guy said we need to talk to the lady standing next to him (Yvonne I believe her name was) and she said "nope" right away before even asking how long ago they were purchased, then she did ask and repeated "nope" now we were not expecting our money back or even a full price credit, just some credit towards some new shoes as new $100 Nike shoes should last much more than that, I have purchased many $1,000s in golf equipment each year (I am golf obsessed) and have returned broken or defective items in the past with Golfsmith and PGA Superstore. with all the golf equipment stores in town (about 3 PGA superstores, 2 Golfsmiths, 3-4 Vans and all the Dicks) I will not purchase from Valley golf again, they lost me as a customer, it wasn't so much about the money but more about the way...

I truly cannot say enough great things about this place. Everytime I go in there, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I live in the neighborhood, so having this place so close is a blessing. I use the range quite a bit and love the pro shop and the employees. Recently I went in to have my clubs reshafted and to have the lie angle set. The gentleman who helped me went above and beyond to make sure my setup was correct. I am extremely inexperienced when it comes to this process, so it would have been very easy for them to take advantage of that fact and upsell me on things I didn't need (like A LOT of companies do). You can tell that customer service is a TOP priority here, and I feel like most companies could take some lessons from this place. They have truly earned a customer for life, and I will never shop anywhere else. Their prices for equipment and accessories are extremely competitive, even with online places like Amazon. In fact, I have recently been shopping for a new bag and found that the one that I want is actually less expensive here than Amazon. So once I've got the money for it, I will be buying my next bag from Valley Golf Center. I thank all of the employees for being so kind and patient with me, I truly appreciate it! I will recommend this place to everyone who needs anything related to golf. Your establishment and customer service...

My husband and I are regulars at Valley, Golf Center, and we can’t say enough good things about it. Firstly, vans, golf shop is impressively well stocked, and the employees are exceptionally helpful and friendly. We find ourselves visiting every week if not more often. What makes a Valley Golf Center even more special is that it’s kid friendly. Or nine month old daughter often joins us when the weather allows. There are plenty of these available for shooting in practice, making it a golfer’s Paradise. The putt putt area adds a dose of family fun to our visits, in the use of trackman technology is a fantastic feature that allows us to track your progress right on our phones. The availability of beverages and snacks is a nice touch, keeping us field for those extended practice sessions. Additionally, my husband has had his clubs re-gripped a few times, and it’s always a quick and efficient process. Valley, Golf Center also offers a diverse selection of clothes, shoes, and more making it a one stop shop for golf enthusiast.
