this should be a ZERO!!!! FIRST to say THERE the worst furniture store!!!!! Please save your time and money and go somewhere else where they will treat you much better. My experience as a first timer!!! I came to this place because of someone that told me they got there beds so I decided to check it out, found something I liked and at first the person that help us was kind. so we decided to go head with the purchase they told us it would ready for us to pick it up on Monday. I call on Monday to let them know im on the way to pick my order and at first they said that they will call me but after a few hours I decided to go. once at the store they told me to go on the back and wait until they get the product. waiting and waiting and calling with no response. I go back and now I saw there true self. giving me an attitude and being rude!!! they do have a worst customer service. finally having a discussion with one of the sales man and finally speaking with the manager I got the product. NOTICE there were something written on the box missing screws? so I ask and they said oh its nothing . so finally home looking at the box almost rip and written all over. open and find that there are missing screws and there were missing parts. even thought they guaranteed it!!! when I mean guaranteed it was by the manager!!! called again and no answered and called probably like 20 times finally spoke with the salesman and they said again they will call us? WTF!!! so I had gone back without the product and asked them for my money back. okay, the funny thing is that there receipt is the contract and it said something like 15% fee.... I wasn't going to let them keep any of that money because they truly don't know how to treat customers!!!! I'm a fair person but if you lie to me in my face and don't have the guts to say sorry then that's it for me to come back!!! anyhow they're were discussions and told them im not waiting for another product and I don't want it no more. and of course the manager disappear and no longer in the store. come on seriously!!! I was told by the sales representative I am going to receive it within 2 weeks, November 7th. It was November 8th and I was expecting delivery until I call them to see why I havenât received it and they told me itâs not going to be ready until November 24th!!!!! It was November 24th and I went to their schedule to see when I will receive my sofa, they said it is not ready and it will be delivered on December 6th!!!!! I asked what is all delays about and they said itâs because we donât have the cloth for the sofa you chose!!!!!! I was so surprised as they have never told me they donât have it. IF THEY KNEW THEY DONâT HAVE THE CLOTH WHY THEY PROMISED THE DELIVERY DATE. IT IS AN OBVIOUS MISINFORMATION AND FRAUD!!!!! The manager told me if you donât receive it by Dec 6th, you can have the refund. I went there today Dec first, to make sure I will receive it by on time and the manager said the delivery has changed to Dec 10th!!!!!!!!!!!!! They keep changing the delivery date and keeps saying wrong information you. Once I asked for a written paper that says I will receive on 10th, they refused as they know they will not be able to deliver it even after 2 months of purchase. The managerâs behavior was terrible. He was trying to fool me with a piece of paper that says they MIGHT deliver on Dec 10th. They also charged my account for the thing I have not received yet. They just keeps lying to you and will not deliver to you on time. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with overstock furniture, and I must say it was the worst furniture shopping experience I have ever had. Not only did they engage in blatant theft, but they also resorted to lying and overcharging me, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of.
Additionally, the prices at overstock were exorbitant compared to other retailers. Initially, I was lured in by their flashy advertising and promises of quality products, but it quickly became apparent that they were just out to squeeze as much money as possible from unsuspecting customers. The sticker shock I experienced upon seeing the final bill was outrageous, and the store showed no willingness to negotiate or provide reasonable explanations for their exorbitant pricing.
Furthermore, throughout my interactions with the staff, I caught them in several lies and inconsistencies. Whether it was about the availability of certain pieces or the promised delivery dates, their deceitful behavior was evident. It felt like they were deliberately trying to mislead customers, making false promises and conveniently changing their story whenever it suited them.
Overall, my experience with overstock furniture was a complete nightmare. From theft and lies to overcharging and an utter lack of integrity, this store exemplifies everything that is wrong with the retail industry.
