1st time last time!!!! This experience was unbelievable. A seemingly simple transaction gone haywire!
After placing my sushi + hibatchi order, I gave the bully restaurant worker my card and then decided to add some dumplings. He took my card out of the chip reader machine quickly hoping the order wouldn't process, added the dumpling then processed my card again. Moments later I receive 2 a notifications on my phone stating that my card was charged twice ( 1 order with for 17. And a 2nd for 20). No biggie, I went to the bully restaurant worker and let him know I was charged twice.
Instead of saying "No problem. We'll fix that for you". He said "open your account and show me the order was processed twice" I responded "Of course I'm not doing that. The notification tells you exactly what occurred. Please refund my money" He yelled at me in a packed resturant, told me that I was drunk (mind you it's 7pm on a Thursday) and wouldn't look at me in the eyes. He was obviously getting very heated and started pumping his leg.
At the end of the day I got my money back but what was with the hostility over a mistake that you made? We could have processed the card for the dumplings separately. It wouldn't have been a problem. So long story short. I will never visit this location again and will tell everyone I know...
Read moreAfter a long day at work, I decided to stop at this location for dinner. The minute I ordered my food, I immediately went to the men's room to wash my hands and noticed there was no soap. I politely asked the guy at the register if they had any soap. If he could possibly get me some to wash my hands. He looked at me and, with a rude attitude, said " I don't have time to give you soap, don't you see I'm taking orders" I looked over my shoulders and there was no one in line placing orders. I asked again, and he waved his hand at me and said, "Go away." At that moment, I decided to ask him for a refund. I wasn't going to eat at this location knowing they're not washing theirs hands at all. He refused to give me a refund, and I asked him to call someone else who could help me he then proceeded to open the register and threw me the money. I wanted to get the Asian guy's name, but the only thing I see on my receipt is the manager. What a shame to have someone like him as a manager running this restaurant. PLEASE AVOID COMING TO THIS LOCATION. This will be my first and last time...
Read moreI had the hibachi beef and spring rolls delivered (Uber Eats) and wasn't too surprised but got exactly what I expected. The idea of fast food hibachi is cool and would like to see this place do well.
As for the food the fried rice wasn't half bad, especially when mixed with the "yummy sauce". The beef that was under the top layer was very greasy, so much so I couldn't taste the meat and stopped eating due to suspicion. The spring rolls we're tasteless and had minimal vegetables. The rolls we're saved by the "hot sauce". Not sure what it was but it was great (just a thick red sauce).
I hope this place is better in person had I plan to try it again. I doubt it'll be much better but I'm hoping it will be. Finally if you're expecting the fried rice with egg you typically get at a hibachi place you'll be upset, it's your typical fried rice so...
