Glamtic — Local services in Bakersfield

I’ve been here several times and have bought a few things from them. My complaint is that the owners have displayed their true character in a recent dispute over items that they bought that were stolen. They went ballistic on the people who tried to retrieve their items. A police report was shown and pictures of the items, but that still wasn’t enough for Jack, the owner of Glamtic. When Jack was contacted and told that the items had been stolen a month prior, that was what he wanted, but in reality he still was not going to give the items back. He wanted to be reimbursed for the money he bought them for. Other reviews on Yelp have said that he buys from shady people and that is apparently what happened in this case. The rightful owner paid Jack so he could get his items back. If that is the law, then so be it. But what Jack and his wife did to the owner is just plan wrong. He texted and insinuated that the owner of the stolen items organized a lynch mob to go after him after someone left a negative review about his business. Who does this?! The banter went back and forth on FB and between texts. The wife got involved and the two of them went above and beyond what honest business people would do. They were desperately trying to prove what great people they were. At one point, they professed their Christianity. Why this had to be said is very telling to me as to their true character. It was like a badge that they liked to flash. I’m not going to do business with them anymore. My suggestion is to look them up on Yelp. These are more accurate reviews and descriptions of the dealings people had with Jack and his wife. They can’t block people on Yelp like they can here. I’ve read reviews of other people where they have been blocked from their website from reviewing them. No wonder this site shows 4 out of 5 rating. Yelp is at 2. You can decide for...

I asked about a piece yesterday afternoon or so to see if it was still available And Glamtic answered me back a little while later I was just inquiring About the peace Glamtic message me back, You want to buy? I wasn't able to answer them back right away as I am disabled so at 5 o'clock am this morning, I get a message asking if I want to buy?, I responded no, do you realize what time it is? a couple of hours later Glamtic messaged me back and asked me if I knew what time it was yesterday when Glamtic responded back to me.I don't get what that had to do with messageing me at 5:00 am this morning you took your time to respond back to me as well yesterday, Get a clue Mr.or Mrs.If someone does not respond back to you maybe they are no longer interested or aren't able to answer right away, Glamtic told me to shop elsewhere then blocked me 🤣 Lol no love lost here (I know Glamtic you will read this), so just wanted to let you and the public know that you don't have the greatest reviews, Glamtic owners or whoever responded is Rude and pushy also desperate to make a sell @ 5:00 am. the following was posted to this review: you couldn't find anything because you blocked me because you are to childish to have an adult conversation. I ignored nothing I got back to you as quickly as I could. I've also posted this review and screen shots on every site I could. Grow up and learn how to have adult conversations, blocking someone is the equivalent of what a child does.
