I was seen today for a UTI. I waited 2 hrs and 20 minutes and I was the 3rd person to enter the waiting room. I was triaged about 15 minutes after arriving and they found my BP to be rather high - 178/100. I was told that when a room was ready they would test it again however that never happened. I was sent back to the waiting room. There was one emergency case with respiratory distress which they took immediately, which I totally understand. The doctor I saw asked me a few questions and did a very brief exam and said they would be back with paper work and prescription. I do have a record of numerous UTI so I knew the drill. The nurse gave me the paperwork with the printed prescription. When I asked if it had been called in to my pharmacist I was told that “He can’t do that”. That is a first for me! They have always called it in. So, now I had to wait over 45 minutes for them to fill it. If the need arises again, I will be going to Reedsburg since they still have an Urgent Care plus they are close to where I live. My doctor is at SSM which is why I use your ER. But, I will not use your ER in the future. I suppose you eliminated the Urgent Care because of shortage in staff. I don’t think you are providing good patient care by doing this. Staff seemed to really be rushed! Which is why they probably missed re-taking my blood pressure. I sincerely hope...
Read moreWe were in Briggsville camping when we had to take my daughter into the ER for breathing issues. From the staff at the door they were all so welcoming, very friendly and always had smiles on their faces EVEN the security people were very friendly and that’s a first! Sitting down about 5 minutes later the nurse came out and took 3 the time to listen to her breathe and took us right back! She was AMAZING her name was Patty and Patty went up and beyond for us, never rushed out of the room, shared person experiences with us as mom to mom. She was very speedy and talked to Olyvia (my daughter) like she has known her forever! She was ever so gentle with her let us know to tell the doctor we wanted her prescriptions through their vending machine so it was one less stop for us and even walked us out with a smile and a wave herself alone is a 5 star, along with Dr Thomas! Dr Thomas took the time to explain everything word for word and was very gentle with my daughter, and we never had the feeling anyone wanted to rush out of the room! They all listened to every word of our concern and helped us through it all! With camping I will FOREVER go back to this hospital for anything going on while camping and also let our whole campground know how well they did and how welcomed they made us!! Patty you...

I went in feeling lightheaded/dizzy and short of breath, it took them approximately an hour to even get me back to be evaluated, then got sent back to the waiting room. Once I finally got back, I got tests done and blood drawn and was told next to nothing about what was going on or going to be done. Over the span of three hours, I saw my doctor once for about a minute. Eventually a respiratory nurse came in to give me a nebulizer treatment, that I was hoping would help my symptoms. As I began the treatment, I felt more and more lightheaded/dizzy and my vision became blurry, and I felt like I was going to faint. I expressed this to the nurse and told her I needed a moment, because she was telling me I had to continue the treatment. I told her I couldn’t and again, needed a moment; she then told me that since I was “refusing treatment” that she would have to tell my doctor. I asked if I could get some information on what was going to be done, and was told that she was, “just here attempting to do her job” and that she couldn’t tell me anything. I waited a while longer and nobody else came in, so I ended up taking it upon myself...
