I'm getting back into playing TCG's after getting out of Magic years ago and I've started collecting Star Wars Destiny. It's difficult to find much of a supply of it so most stores and web sites are gouging players on booster prices, yet when I stopped in The Gamer's Keep for the first time and asked about it, one of the owners was kind enough to inform me he had some coming in in the next two days and held a booster box for me and even sold it to me just below retail which made me very happy. I plan on stopping in regularly after so build some decks and trying to see if there's much interest there for regular play, maybe eventually some tournaments. Btw this place is way bigger inside than it looks outside and they plan on adding more activities as their space allows for considerable expansion. Cool place......
Read moreInventory is sparse and some of it is locked out of reach (like the dice, which I would want to look at more closely than in a locked spinning box). I wasn't greeted when I walked in the door and nobody at the counter even glanced my direction. It made the visit feel very awkward. There were a few people discussing magic cards on both sides of the counter and I honestly couldn't even tell who was an employee and who was a customer. I may be back someday to look at the board game selection, but I was disappointed...
