Upper Crust Pizza & Chicken (Barberton location) — Restaurant in Barberton

Going to split this up into two visits since I can’t post two reviews. First visit - pepperoni pizza and 4pc chicken tenders. Loved the pepperoni pizza, very tasty good sauce and well made. Held up well overnight and tastes really good cold as leftovers. They have an awesome crust. Chicken tenders so juicy and very hot/fresh! Nicely seasoned too, the fries have almost a jojo texture to them and are really good with dip. Staff was super friendly as well which was nice! Second visit- Won a free pizza from a promo they ran. When I picked up the staff were again very nice and kind! Decided to try their “uppercrust pizza” since it seemed a little out of what I’d normally order. I was pretty shocked it exceed my expectations! I love the use of two crusts and the sauces worked very well together. It was a bit messy since it is stuffed with toppings!

TLDR- good food, nice people, a bit pricey (if you compare to corporate giants but compared to other local pizza places pretty average)but not terribly priced...

So normally their food is pretty average but it was convenient because they are close to our home and deliver. One evening a few days ago we wanted to try something new so we attempted to order one of their "smash boxes". After we were informed that that particular menu item was only offered on a certain night of the week......we were very rudely hung up on. When we called back to speak to the young lady to inquire why she hung up instead of asking if we wanted anything different she denied hanging up on us and informed us they wouldn't be taking our orders anymore. Same thing when we called back and talked to the manager. Completely rude and denying service to people that have spent a lot of money there. I don't know if there are new owners there but we were never treated like that when it was under the Pizza BOGO name. Personally food is average and the customer service is complete garbage. Maybe try hiring people that aren't fresh out of an 8th grade education to take your orders and run...

Great food , terrible servers and manager. Called and ordered a 8pc tender & jojo. Guy server middle aged, skinny proceeds to call me a liar and says I ordered fries no jojos and there’s nothing he can do about it. Pretty weird to try to serve people the wrong food and basically force it on them.

My mother ordered today from DoorDash, on the app there’s no selection for jojos so she calls immediately like she always does to have them switch it to jojos. Same guy answers and I hear them argue about it, she ask to speak to the manager and gets hung up on. Calls back and they say they’ll make it with jojos.

Food arrives , no jojos. I call and end up speaking to the manager who’s extremely rude and tells me they’re busy and they can give me a $10 credit towards a $41 order. Busy or not, give people what they order not what you feel like giving someone.

Will never be back to this one for sure, manager and server needs fired...
