I work at a different Subway and there were at least half a dozen other employees in uniform in the store for whatever reason but they were all seated and laughing while one girl did everything. Not a big deal because when I walked in it was just me the annoy part is when I went through and got my sub and while it was being toasted another gentleman walked in and said he had three subs...okay maybe another employee will get up and help...nope not one did so mine gets done toasting and I finish everything else all I have to do is pay then leave. But instead of ringing me out then helping the other gentleman with his three subs the woman walks away to do his subs so I'm just standing there waiting, she starts on the gentleman's third sub (about 5 minutes have passed and I'm still standing there) then two more people walk in and still no other employees get up to help. Then the woman puts some bacon in the micro wave for the gentleman just behind me the starts asking the next person as I'm still standing there just staring at this point, so final I click my card against the metal counter to 1. Get her attention and 2. Show my level of annoyance that has built up, she finally looks at me and almost seems to debating on finishing what she started or ringing me out so I give her a glare and she finally walks over and rings me out. So I stood there for close to 15 minutes after my sub was done just waiting to pay and not on of the other probably 8 employees got up to help. So if you actually want good service go to the store I work at (the Norton Subway on Cleveland Massillon Rd) because that is unacceptable and would never happen...

I even wrote in the comments section of the online order form, asking them to cut my sandwich into 3 pieces and remove the bread from the inside of my tuna sub.. Didn't do any of that. The bread was also very hard and dry. I'm pretty sure the bread was not made fresh that day as it should have been. I'm quite disappointed in the service we received tonight. However, I suppose I should have expected it because all they had working there was one teenage young man. The poor kid was all by himself trying to complete all of the online orders as well as walk-ins. I honestly felt bad for him. He was super polite. So I will not fault him for the service tonight, as I'm sure he had a rough night. They should not be relying solely on one person to run this restaurant. Read moreI am livid. One of my best friends recently got a job here a few days ago. I decided to stop by and buy a sandwich and say hello. She did not make my sandwich or check me out, not until I sat down and was halfway thru my sandwich did I get to say hello. THAT I am not mad about. I understand she is working and has a job to do. However, after our one work conversation of hello, her manager proceeded to call me “distracting” and then kick me out. After I paid $15.00 for a foot long meal, PLUS extra tax to stay in and eat. I am a paying customer and even paid extra to sit in your lobby. Saying hello to my friend does no harm. Not to mention, there was hardly anyone in that lobby.
