The Butcher Shop — Local services in Barboursville

Called to reserve a pork belly for the following day get my name put on it only to come the following day and learn they sold it. Can only hold for 2 hours apparently something not even remotely mentioned over the phone. So a wasted trip and now figuring out the logistics to try again.

Edit/Reply: I understand that, I called in the waning hours of the day while I was at work, I work until 2-3 am so I sleep through a bulk of the morning and came as soon as I was able the following day. First time in the shop today. First you can tell alot about a business by the friendliness and helpfulness the staff . 5 stars for the staff.

Great selection of specialty and gourmet items. 5 stars.

We made several purchases very happy with them. The locally jarred and made Ghost'ly Gourmet item, 5 stars.
