Ordered subs with very specific toppings on them. Got back to work, none of the toppings were on the sandwiches. When I called, they said they’d remake them for me. I shared I could come in on a specific day for them to be remade. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it in on that day to have them remade because of how busy I was at work. When I called the next day and explained what happened, asking if I could have them remade that day instead, they told me someone had called the day before to place the order (which is untrue, as no one called them), and that they had already made the sandwiches but, since I didn’t show up, they threw them away and would not remake them. What’s unfortunate is that I know the GM and for them to be so unwilling to correct a mess up is pretty awful. I worked at Penn Station for a while and we always corrected our wrongs. I liked the GM a lot, but this experience (and the way I was essentially called a liar over the phone) has made me unwilling to visit this location again.
If someone from this location reads this, I’m not trying to be rude, I just want you to know that treating customers like this is really unfortunate. Whether or not it was a feee sub, they weren’t made correctly. At that point, I would have just paid for the sub I wanted. You guys offered to remake it for me then gave me excuses as to why you couldn’t. Just be honest from the get go. If you couldn’t remake a sandwich because it was free, tell me ahead of time and it won’t be an issue.
I hope the service...
Read morePenn Station is our favorite fast food place to eat!!! We love how your food is made right when you order it and they weigh the meat to make sure you're not getting less than you're supposed to and they're fries are cut and made fresh right then and there. They have huge chocolate chip cookies that are made fresh daily. The employees at the one we frequent the most are very friendly and already know our order as soon as they see us coming in the door. The food is the best and ever since we tried Penn Station years ago we haven't been able to eat Subway since because the food at Penn Station has spoiled us. The closest that we frequent the most is 45 minutes away and we actually make the trip just to have subs from there...lol I hope anyone that tries it enjoys it as much as we do. They have a great selection to choose from. Not to mention, the bread they use is phenomenal to the...
Read moreI only frequent two subs shops in the area. One is Jersey Mikes and the other being Penn Station. I prefer to come here when I am craving a hot sub and fresh cut fries and Jersey Mikes when I want a cold cut and chips. The hot subs here are very good with plenty of customization options. The fresh cut fries are very good but sometimes overcooked, or you end up with just a bunch of broken bits. My two favorites are the Phili steak sub and the Teriyaki chicken sub. The fresh squeezed lemonade is delicious, and the chocolate chunk cookie is a great finisher to your meal. The establishment is clean and well maintained. The staff greet you upon entering and thank you when you depart. I highly recommend giving this sub shop a try, I don't think you'll leave...
