I am never one to write a review but I just thought I should let people know. I come here all the time and usually have a great experience but whoever I had today made me never want to come back and warn people. I’m very disappointed and am in so much pain. It is partly my fault for not saying something but I have horrible anxiety and shouldn’t have to if I’m bleeding. I’m currently in nail tech school and what I witnessed/experienced was mortifying. another note I cut and file my own toes just simply wanted the service. I have no ingrown as well as know that they are not aloud to cut them and need to refer you to a specialist. No idea why they chopped my skin. I requested French tip didn’t even listen to me and when I tried to say something she just ignored me so I sucked it up trying to get out of there as quick as possible… (Follow up: I’ve tried to call them and have left a message no response. I also had to go to the doctor as it became inflamed and I do indeed now have an infection and am on antibiotics. I used to enjoy this place, however I do believe it was a new employee as I have never seen her before I just wanted to inform them to check her license or even just remind her on correct procedure (which would have been sending me to a specialist if I did have an ingrown; which I did not) as the owner responded saying it’s not the standards but with no response I think it just might be…) I would definitely have return if this was handle correctly. I do not even mean a refund but just the acknowledgment of the fact they have an unhappy customer who again did have to go to the doctor after being in excruciating pain.

The whole time I was trying to be nice to her because I was thinking that maybe she is just having a bad day. But she was giving me the attitude for the whole time, and at the end just said ā€œdo you want hand massage or no?ā€ And I just said no because It was even uncomfortable to sit there. And she walked away with no words. I left and then the next time came but asked for a different girl, and told the manager about the previous experience. Not knowing this one is going to be worse. The girl was really nice, I understand that she is learning and she is young but for the price of 65$ that I payed plus her 20% tip I expect to have nice nails. These are my nails just after 4 days of getting them done. The color started chopping off the same day, one nail almost fully broke off, my nails were in pain for a day.

This was my 4th time i believe coming to the Paris nails. First two were not bad so I kept coming, the third one threw me off, this young girl kept pushing my hands roughly and left me in shock that I couldn’t even react, didn’t ask me one question if i liked my nails, if i wanted one more layer or liked the color. The whole time I was trying to be nice to her because I was thinking that maybe she is just having a bad day. But she was giving me the attitude for the whole time, and at the end just said ā€œdo you want hand massage or no?ā€ And I just said no because It was even uncomfortable to sit there. And she walked away with no words. I left and then the next time came but asked for a different girl, and told the manager about the previous experience. Not knowing this one is going to be worse. I have been going to Paris nails for over nine years and for the most part have been very happy with their services. I typically go every 2-3 weeks for a ā€˜Dip’ and a Deluxe pedicure. Yesterday, was by far the worst pedicure experience I have ever had. And to he honest, I would have walked out if it wasn’t for the fact that my nails were wrapped in foil awaiting a ā€˜Dip’. The Deluxe pedicure is an upgrade from the usual pedicure with an extended massage to your feet and lower legs (including heated stones) and a gentle exfoliation. Although it is more expensive, it is worth it, especially for the extended massage. The technician was either very new to the procedures for ā€˜Deluxe’ or she was having a very very bad day. During application of the exfoliation gel, she proceeded to apply lotion on top Of the gel. When I brought it to her attention, she looked confused as she did not understand my English. The technician next to her had to tell her that they go on separately, each being gently massaged into my feet and lower legs. She became flustered, apologized and tried to rinse the off my leg with scorching HOT water (I am sure it was an accident) only to be followed by very COLD water šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø She was visibly upset as things went downhill from there. Beside the fact that I never got the exfoliation/lotion, she pretty much skipped over any massage to my feet (the best part). The Massage is usually a lengthy process and the best part of the pedicure which is why I don’t mind paying the extra for the deluxe. My technician never went anywhere near my feet but did a very brief, light massage to my lower legs. At this point, I gave up, realizing I was definitely not going to get what I was paying for. To finish, she began to paint my toe-nails and got polish all over my toes, whereas, she finally asked another technician to step in and finish. I felt bad that she was having a bad day but I also feel that she should’ve allowed someone else to step in sooner. I still tipped her 20%. I have been going here for years and every time i do my experience gets worse and worse. No regard to consistent year round regulars! Prices go up and up, Jane the receptionist, will change the price on you and rip you off any chance she gets. Every time I walk in she acts like she’s never seen me before. She is the one that assigns the chairs and I swear you makes me wait longer and longer and when I start to get mad, she totally ignores me. The wait gets longer and longer and I watch so many people come in after me and finish long before me. There are very few staff that are even a little friendly. They tell me to make an appointment and that doesn’t matter either. Last time I made an appointment I was there for 3 1/2 hours!!!!!!! Pedicures; the girls are on their phones longer than my pedicure lasts and most give the lamest massages. Couldn’t be bothered. Everyone is rushed rushed rushed and this is the one thing I do for me. So often I leave and my nails are filed to look like they curve, if I ask them to fix it and file them straight, they tell me that’s the way my nail goes. Well shape it so it doesn’t!!!!!! Supposed to be relaxing and a gift to me…. I know you are asking why do I go back? It’s because I keep thinking it’s going to get better and it seriously only gets worse. I truly do not recommend this salon. I know I am totally done with them and not going back. Or if you are looking for a salon where you do not to matter, you have plenty of time to sit around or you don’t really care how your nails come out or how long they last before chipping or breaking…….. go for it...
