Late last Saturday afternoon, our family settled inside as brisk winds increasingly gathered strength before suddenly propelling a mature tree directly onto our home with an ear-splitting jolt. We immediately went outside to survey the damage which included several large heavy branches on our roof, having ripped our brand-new gutters from the soffits and the large trunk leaning into our elevated deck, having ripped the railing off and was within inches of our windows. We called Cape & Island Tree Service and Dan promised he would be there within an hour. He and his team arrived on time, quickly assessed the damage, and set immediately to work removing all the branches and trunk from our roof, deck and home. He also assessed the remaining trees which were still swinging in the wind and did everything possible to help us feel safe following such a scary situation and to minimize any further damage to the impacted areas by safely removing any tree debris from our roof, deck and impacted area.

Dan and his team did a great job for us! They removed a large tree from our property that was leaning over our neighbor’s property. They were able to delicately remove all the upper branches and land them with minimal impact to the surrounding plantings. They did the same with the 50-foot section of trunk. When the last of trunk was removed they ground the stump to below-grade. Dan also removed invasive vines from several of our trees by climbing them and carefully cutting the vines off the limbs in the canopy. They got everything done in one day and left the property clean of all debris. They raked the lawn and blew any visible chips/dust out of the flower beds. Would definitely use them again.
