Inflated prices throughout the store, especially in the meat department. Cashiers are usually bored and humdrum, not very forthcoming when asked a question. Not a pleasant experience. I wish I had access to other venues. I only shop at IGA because I don't have transportation elsewhere. Five or six years ago this was not the case. We visited the Barnwell IGA for the first time since moving here looking for an alternative to Walmart to grocery shop. Comparing prices, the IGA was definitely higher on most items of comparison.
