I purchased in over $2000 chair for my 80+ year-old grandmother. The chair was supposed to be delivered. It was not done, and my grandmother was told that the chair they thought they had in stock had already been sold. They then proceeded to tell us that they needed to get the chair from another warehouse. This took about another 10 days or so they were able to find and locate the chair and get it shipped to their store. Once that was done the chair was scheduled to be delivered to I my grandmothers house. Well, when they got the chair to her house my grandmother immediately noticed that the chair was much bigger than the one she originally ordered. The chair would not even fit in her home. So they had to take the chair back to the store. My grandmother spoke with the workers, and they told her that the chair has been discontinued, and all that was left was the floor model. I called the manager of the store and asked her what she would do for all of the hiccups as none of these were our fault. She promptly told me that she had already taken 30% off the chair, which is incorrect because it was on sale she took off an additional 10% for their error and that she was not going to do anything more. I feel like she has pretty much just taken advantage of the situation. I ordered a specific chair. I paid the price they had listed for the chair. They sold me a chair that was not present and then I had to wait for another one. When they finally delivered it too was incorrect. My grandmother is now forced to take a floor model chair, which is not what the agreement was for but since she is older and is in pain, she really wants. They delivered the floor model chair but they are missing pieces to it so they canāt take it apart to put it in the bedroom that she wanted it. So now we have to do a refund which the manager is telling me āthe checkā has to come from corporate. The ācheckā itās 2023! The manager had a nerve to have an attitude with me because of my frustration and my doubt that she could void a transaction properly. All of this started because she sold me a chair that was not physically in her possession to begin with. Not to mention when the chair was finally delivered, they did not even bring a receipt. So I have to wait on a check, but they got their money immediately. I contacted their corporate office and informed them of the situation. The gentleman was polite, heard me out and said I should be refunded via the credit card and to let him know if it wasnāt done...

I was able to buy the living room suit that I've always wanted not only was I able to get everything I needed she told me if we don't have it in the store they would be happy to order it for me such an awesome experience she was kind and the the staff was outstanding I would recommend farmers home furniture to all of my friends and family. If you have just moved to the aiken area or you are moving into a new home and need any kind of furniture. Farmers home furniture is the place to be. I never would have expected to see the manager of a furniture store out on the floor working so hard she really cares about her customers and there needs.
