KJ's Fresh Market — Local services in Barron

The staff is great. I love that th3 store is so close to my home. Now the reason I give a 3 star vs a 5 star. 1. The prices are outrageous! Even there expired food that they discount still cost more than any where else in 50 miles. I got a loaf of discounted bread this sinking ut would be cheap since it was about to mold and French loaf $4 normal. (Walmart fresh is $1) discounted i still have to pay over $2 like wow. The produce is questionable at times. I've pulled badd off the self before and left the store forgot something came back they put the rotten food back on the shelf. And still over charged for it lol. But I still love the staff. I've asked employees about why it's like this they said it's the owner. So prices and rotten food is there fault. Now I only shop there when I really don't wanna do the extra drive instead of pouring into my community. Sucks because that should be the point of shops in small towns. Not trying to hurt them...

Kjs is a great store. The managers are great and so are the employees, however Kayla is very rude to her employees. She tells them it's OK to ask questions but when you do she acts very annoyed. She is not a good manager. She's rude,stuck up and acts like she's better than everyone. Everyone else is great except her. She's constantly in her office watching shows and then complains when any of the cashiers need assistance. She refuses to schedule more than 2-3 workers at a time and then gets upset that they're back logged. She's extremely rude to the younger workers there, and has fired several workers for little...

Went shopping at KJs in Barron the other day. The store was clean, prices reasonable, cashiers were friendly. Great selection of stuff. I'm pleased. The meat looked fresh compared to what they are selling at Austads in Turtle Lake. We have went there for a long time and the meat that they sell is brown and questionable. So had to find a different store. Will definitely go there more. Only complaint is the parking lot...
