Luxury Nails Tech — Local services in Bartlett

Worst experience I have ever had! I went in to get a fill and the lady asked if I wanted them shorter and I said yes please, she never asked how short and just kept grinding them and she ended up making them shorter than my finger tips so I had to pay to get a whole new set put on. Then I asked her multiple times to file them shorter than they were that I didn't like the length of the new nails and all she kept saying is "no, they are even they are good". The following day after having my nails done I noticed my real nail had separated from the tips, so I called and they told me to come in and they would fix them. When I went in to get them fixed the owner/manager kept telling me it was because my actual nails were too long and she would just add nail glue to make them stick. I told her that I wanted a new set, my nails shouldn't separate from the tips like that. After about 10 minutes of explaining this I finally told her to forget it I would just go somewhere else. She finally agreed to put a new set on. After removing the fake nails she cut my real nails extremely short and applied new tips and sent me over to another lady to have them finnished. Once they were shortened, I looked underneath and noticed yet AGAIN that my real nails were not completely glued to the tips. The manager came over and argued with me. She told me "I've been nail tech for 15 years, there is no way they are separating. They are fine". She then proceeded to tell me that my real nails were too short to put tips one, but she was the one that cut my nails! I was so disappointed I had them remove the tips and just apply no chip polish to my nails.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND A WASTE...

I have been going to Luxury nails for many years I did respect the place as it was clean and they know you by name. Except for the last 6 times my no chip nail polish has always chipped in a few days, but I am busy with my own business and don't always time to run back and fix them. So I chalked it up to oh well maybe it is just me and it won't happen next time.. Until one day I sat next to another lady who mentioned the same thing keeps happening to her and Tina the owner didn't hesitate to say to the lady and myself that next time it happens come back in and she would fix it. But wouldn't give the lady a discount when asked, that she needs to come in when it hapoens. Well this time when supposedly no chip nail polish did it again for me I went in to get them fixed and a nail polish change for my toes and a fill since it had been 6 days. I also asked for a discount when I arrived and I was told.. o.k. o.k. in a quiet voice. When the time came to pay my nail tech, she already swiped my card and charged me $40.00. I explained about the discount I asked for when arriving and Tina says oh sorry next time I give $5.00 off. I was appalled at how little of a discount considering they will charge for every little service. They have no problem charging $6.00 + for each nail you want a design on. I tip very well approx. $25.00 -30 each time not including there charge, cause I know as a business owner myself and how much they depend on tips and if you haven't noticed yet, it's different charge each time for whatever reason they said they did for you. There was another incident but that is another story. Let's put it this way it's greed...

i have been going to luxury nail tech since i was about 10 years old. it started with little manicures with my mom and saving up easter and birthday money to now going in by myself. i have never gone anywhere else. tina has always welcomed me and done her best with my nails. my lovely nail tech recently, cara, is the BEST. i have gotten countless sets done by her and i am never less than amazed with her work. the staff there is wonderful, and never rude. i have never had an issue with service. i normally treat myself to one nail set a month and i do work in fast food and do cheer so yes, they do chip. HOWEVER, i get one set a month and they never break and as a very hands on person thats saying a lot. the money i spend there is never wasted and i never regret it. i enjoy every nail day i have and i look forward to many more holiday, hoco and prom...
