I was treated extremely rudely just for trying to return some cupcakes. A new kid was working the register, and I didn’t realize I had bought the wrong item until I got to my car. When I came back in, the woman standing behind the new cashier was rude to me, and then the manager came over, furious like a wet hornet. She started jabbing the computer screen aggressively because they couldn’t figure out how to print my receipt from literally two minutes ago.

I’ve never experienced anything like this at this store. They treated me like a criminal just for trying to exchange the wrong item. How is it my fault that they don’t know how to do returns?

It made me feel awful. Honestly, I don’t even want to go back now. The manager didn’t know how to process the refund correctly. The cupcakes I actually wanted were about $2 more, so I had to pay the difference. She kept repeating “$7.20” over and over, and I told her I didn’t have cash. I apologized, but I don’t understand why she acted so hostile toward me. I didn’t do anything to deserve that. It’s her job, and she shouldn’t take her frustration out...

Well let's just say there are a couple places that need to be addressed. 1) please have someone wipe off the dead flies on your pulled pork containers by the 5 for 25 please thats nasty 2) need too have a class for your cashiers to be kind and courtesy too each other and too customers. 3) The Big one.... Don't treat people like they are not honest people just because they have to write a check. I get it that people do wrong by you sometimes. However i explained that I lost my card and would get a replacement tomorrow. Don't ask in front of others if everything matched and stuff in front of people like I have a bad name there. Cause I don't! I have wrote checks there before and sometimes I just like to shop local instead of driving all the way to miami or joplin. So there ya have it, I shop here all the time but today my experience was a little different. Not sure if it was because I bought 285 dollars worth of food or what but damn you would think you would be...

Went in to IGA in Baxter Springs ks tonight. Bought several cases of drinks for workers tomorrow in the heat. Paid cash and left. Before going into the store I ate my mcdonalds in my car. I was going to meet someone there so I moved my vehicle away from the front doors for the customers. I waited 5 minutes till some strange dude came walking up making threats and telling me to leave (all on my dash cam) I ignored him. But in the 5-10 minutes I decided to leave. That's when the police showed up to "remove me from the property" IGA had no reason for misusing that authority and tonight I feel like buying the properry, fire every employee and close down the store. I did nothing but buy drinks that myself or one of my workers do in that store on a regular basis. I grew up in Baxter and so did my family. I would hope nobody I know uses their...
