The older owner seems to be always grumpy and maybe he needs to retire if he cannot improve his customer service skills. I called on the phone to ask a question and he told me he did not have time to check the specifics on the item. I only go there for my Mom, otherwise I will not be setting foot in that store again. Some of the products are stale as is to be expected with a "Mom and Pop" operation so I try to stick to canned or bottles items. Last time, the mango chutney was stale. It appears that they turn off the AC in the night time so some of the products (chocolates) melt slightly and then return to the desired consistency, albeit with the stale whitish residue on the chocolates and cookies. I would expect this from a "Food and Rum shop" in the Carribean, not from a grocery store in the U.S. Come on! Step...
