Let me start by saying this review is mainly based on housekeeping. This hotel lacks in housekeeping SEVERELY. The 1st room we were assigned had stains on 1 of the sheets. Visible through the sheet you could see the burn mark from a cigarette. Although the hotel/room is non-smoking or not pet friendly, the rooms showed otherwise (which is of course no fault of the hotel b/c people don't follow the rules). However, because of the stained sheets and tons of hair on the beds in the 1st room I reported it to the front desk. They moved us to the room next door. Although, there were no stains on the sheets, both beds still had hair on them which I picked off in front of the front desk clerk. Possibly from the housekeeping staff, I'm not sure (at least I hope it was housekeeping). There was a half a roll of toilet paper left and no additional rolls. We had to flag the front desk clerk down in the park lot to obtain another roll after he had just left changing our room. The fridge in this room had human hair and dog hair in. The faucet in the kitchen is loose and needs to be repaired. The ac unit once turned on makes a HORRIBLE noise. By the time we discovered this, it was late and we just wanted to get to bed. We did not feel like packing up again switching rooms. The remodel of the rooms look really good. There is no carpet which is a plus. There are also kitchenettes in the rooms. Not sure how much good the kitchenettes are w/o any pots/utensils available (unsure if you have to request them from the front desk or not). However, it will go downhill if housekeeping doesn't improve. Also, the hotel/rooms have received a makeover but not the linens and towels. The sheets were dingy and very thin. The towels were dingy as well. Complimentary breakfast is basically non-existence. There was a waffle maker. Only fresh fruit available were bananas. Fridge was basically empty only a few waters, 1 yogurt, butter and orange juice in pitchers. Pastry/bread/bagel/muffin section empty. Coffee = water. It was no where close for breakfast time to be over. Based on looks alone, I could have stayed here again. However, that will not happen due to the uncleanliness and tons of hair. Throw away the old towels and sheets and upgrade those as well. The guy who checked us in was kind and very apologetic for the issues. I give him 5 stars for how he handled the situation. Also 5 stars on the remodel.

They recently upgraded the rooms and the hotel surroundings. Nice area to stay in if you are near Baytown. Breakfast is a bit small and not many options, but some rooms have stove/hotplates, fridge, and a sink. So you can buy groceries and stock your room. Housekeepers are really nice and diligent folks. Parking is available for one maybe two semi tractors behind the building near the fence. Also a small mall across the street has parking as well, near the Dollar store. The front desk is very attentive to watching the parking lot vehicles at all hours via video surveillance and personal walks.

Nice unit, lousy so called breakfast. Had to go out every day for food as the breakfast was nothing here. For to ruin had been locked in before, not fixed. Big gaping hole for bibs and weather to come in 24/7. Big suite, not a damn thing in the kitchen. No silverware, no plates, no cooking pans, NOTHING. NON AMERICAN DOWN HERE. Owners don't care at all about customer. Lovely way for Best Western to tell diamond guests they don't care. JOMO

The prices are competitive, the service is not great but it's there. If you don't ask for towels before the normal day shift is over you're out of luck. The hotel is new and the rooms are great compared to others in the price range. The bed is comfortable. The continental breakfast could use a little bit more variety but the eating area is clean. The range / stove in my room has not been working since I got there. The manager has not gotten it fixed either. It has been over a week. I have stayed here before and it was great, the stove is the only major issue I'm having right now. The parking lot is lit up brightly and there are a lot of cameras so I appreciate that. All in all, not bad... good...

in over 50 years of travel this is regretfully the worst review I have ever written. check-in did not acknowledge me as a member much less as elate. no express ck. out offered. did not even ask how the stay was. room floor all tiled. made it slippery when wet from rain and shower. shower curtain needs metallic fasteners glued to wall. keeps h2o in. no soap dish in shower. put everything on the floor. as a suite, table had one chair. no couch or reading light. no usb outlets for computer table. no pictures on any wall. no snack breakfast or office coffee. blamed it on virus. was not allowed in the office at all, day or not. sorry, but the owner/mgr. need lessons on how to run...
