I spotted this place because I happened to be in the area. I didn't know it was there. I found everything I needed, and the employees I encountered were very nice and helpful. Unlike the big box places, the people there are knowledgeable about the products they sell. Nice little hardware store with friendly staff. Definitely convenient if you’re in the Cove or Beach City area, however, they do take strong advantage of that convenience in the form of high prices (30-100% higher than Home Depot or Lowes on the items I’ve looked at) with generally much lower quality products. Really nice employees-especially the dark haired young woman who works in hardware. My husband sent me in with a nut saying he needed 2 more exactly like it. She took it and came back a few minutes later with them. Turns out it was a special nut (double threaded) that I wouldn’t have been able to get at the other two big box stores in Baytown.
