Cute cozy shady and oasis literally in the desert right now!! Bathrooms were clean camp level Camp style flushable toilets; there’s a space across the street when you turn off the highway or if you have a big rig you can just park there across the street there’s room enough there’s if no one else is ; right in front ; pull in you can park right in front but you Gotta make that left turn going on westbound Turning left southbound it’s right on the corner; just passed the area 51 alien shop And brothel😳😙😆🤯 Oh there’s also an RV park if you can imagine that in the summer just behind the cell phone tower or next to it.

Located near to service areas, boasting gas, convenience stores, and fast-food restaurants. I believe this area is maintained by NDOT and if so, they do a very good job of keeping this area in great shape. Located in this relatively small park, you will find restrooms with running water, an RV dump station, picnic tables and quite a few shade trees. This is an oasis in the middle of the desert and perfect for the tired and weary traveler to rest, eat, relax, and sleep if need be and far enough away for the service areas.

Being in the middle nowhere, this is a really nice surprise on desolate US 95! The small shade trees are lovely and welcome a short stroll to stretch the legs! The bathrooms are average nothing special there. The REALLY nice thing is the large parking lot just south of here along SR 373 which is great for a night's rest. Plus, something I didn't expect was Wifi. Yeah. You have to angle yourself right in the parking lot off 373, but you can certainly get it. This is really what a rest stop should be. Well done, Nevada!

This rest area is not just functional, its also really comfortable and appealing because of its creative use of space, its simple and yet detailed layout. This is definitely a compliment to the Nevada DOT employees in charge of maintaining the rest area! -Obviously skilled at landscape and design, and understand the value of simplicity in nature; to enhance, rather than create what is inherent and beautiful in the nature of the space. It's nature that makes my soul smile and feel at peace. 😄

But also, their pragmatic and efficient construction! The "loop" design has restrooms around the outside, and cars can drive up next to them on the inside of the loop. then, move forward to park. Picnic tables are on the round inside of the loop, and charcoal grills, and also on the outside. There are nice, green, leafy shade trees all around., and natural wood posts as dividers, (not barriers ) allowing movement In and out e sry 10 ft or so. And the simple rock lined pathways curving through inside picnic areas. Space to move, without crowd or complete separation. But most impressive--- the rest area had:

1.Restrooms that were NOT locked (rare these days), and were clean, and maintained later that day also,

Water! Out of pump hoses! Several!

Notices at each restroom stating Water quality was "safe to drink",

Who to contact in emergency, and

Contact information for the agency who was responsible for the restrooms , and to contact with complaints and compliments. Someone was thinking here at this work site! Oregon, California, Arizona: pay attention! **That's why I was so impressed, stop blaming homeless people as an excuse to DENY basic...
