Stater Bros. Markets — Local services in Beaumont

Crazy today I went into Stater brothers to get some meat ground from the meat dept.the butchers seemed like two young children behind the counter one was a blonde haired boy he couldn’t have been older than 17(If I can find out his name I will post it at a later date so you people can stay away from there and him personally )I asked him if he could grind a couple of chuck steaks for me he said yes but it would take about 10 minutes then he switch to 15 minutes told me I could shop and come back I was done with my shopping so I told him I would just wait he turned around and then told me it would take 30 minutes to get my ground meat at this point I didn’t trust him I did not think I would get the actual meat I wanted ground he would probably substitute it for a lesser meat he did offer me roast instead of the steak I wanted I stuck with the steak but he insisted that it would take 30 minutes now to grind the meat for me I told him to just put the steaks back There was no manager in the store to make a complaint which was another thing nobody is held responsible nowadays for anything and kids just don’t wanna work sad that our local stores can’t help people with quality service used to be able to rely on the butcher the baker nowadays they’re just children filling shoes of somebody who used to be responsible and professional, These two boys that were behind the counter are far from being professional at their craft I will not shop their meat department again I will go out of my way to go to a different store rather than ever get stuff from here again concerning the...

FIRST I want to say, there are A FEW GOOD PEOPLE I've encountered at this location on Beaumont Ave. "A FEW".Since me and my family started shopping at this location, I've been sold bad raw seafood, I've had a bagger push my groceries off the conveyor over to me instead of her putting the items in my cart. I've had multiple cashiers give attitude while checking out. So much so that I've gone numb to it. Now(09-28-21) I get a cashier refuse to sale me Heinekens because my ID is out of state. The thing that baffles me is that I bought Heinekens from this location yesterday. The cashier decides to confirm his decision with another employee who I'm familiar with because she is one of the nonchalant, rude, no customer service having individuals I've dealt with in the past. She proceeds to tell him,"if he does not feel comfortable with it he does not have to allow the purchase ".The real question is, what made him so uncomfortable that never made all the other cashiers I've purchased Heinekens from???? I was able to speak with two nonchalant, no people skill having managers who were no help on clarifying the questions I had. I can literally walk to the location from my home if I wanted to. I've tolerated all the issues with this location because of the convenience and the FEW GOOD WORKES I've dealt with. In the past I would just stop going to this location on Beaumont Ave for a month or a couple weeks when I felt mistreated. I’m very disappointed with Stater Bros customer service. Your website says “satisfaction Guarantee “ What a joke ! I ordered items from Instacart today but canceled my order . For some reason the cancellation wasn’t recognized with the Instacart app. I went shopping in person and upon arriving home I noticed 3 shopping bags on my doorstep. I immediately contacted stater bros. I was told if I bring back the merchandise with my receipt I would get a full refund. Went back and then was told I couldn’t receive a refund. I also contacted Instacart and told that Stater bros was the only store I could get a refund from. Very disappointing that I was told to come in the store . Then told I couldn’t receive a refund. I have all the products unopened with my receipt. Shame on you. I’ve contacted my credit card company to file a dispute claim. I shop at Stater Bros a lot . Now I will just drive a few miles farther. To go to the other Stater bros in town. I have Stage 4 cancer and I’m on strict budget due to my medication and Chemo. Thanks for absolutely nothing.
